Islamic State releases image of Pope Francis beheading

Well, he has already lost his head. This would just make it official.

If the Islamic State gets the chance to make this image a reality, perhaps Pope Francis will be able to remind his killers, just before the blade slices into his neck, that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.”

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

“ISIS Group Releases Image of ‘Beheaded’ Pope Francis,” by Bridget Johnson, PJ Media, November 17, 2017:

Just a few days after circulating a propaganda poster depicting a jihadist driving toward the Vatican, a pro-ISIS media group today released another poster depicting Pope Francis beheaded.

In the image from the Wafa’ Media Foundation, a jihadist stands over the orange-jumpsuited body of a prisoner with his hands behind his back, chest-down on the ground on a dirt street. The terrorist, clad in khaki with a white scarf covering his face, holds a knife in one hand and touches the head that looks like Pope Francis — propped on the back of the body — with his other hand.

“Jorge Mario Bergoglio,” the pope’s name, is written next to the head.

In the background is an indistinguishable cityscape and a pickup with jihadists flying an ISIS flag from the bed.

Earlier this week, Wafa’ circulated a poster depicting a vehicle moving toward the Vatican with a cache of weapons, vowing “Christmas blood.”

“So wait…” were the only other words on the image, an illustration showing the point of view of an unseen driver as his BMW approached St. Peter’s Basilica in the evening with an unobstructed view driving down Via della Conciliazione. In the passenger seat: a rifle, a handgun and a backpack. In the rearview mirror, a masked face.

ISIS followers have favored attacks during the holiday season, with the 2015 attack on a San Bernardino County Christmas party by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik as well as last December’s truck attack on the Berlin Christmas market by Anis Amri.

The Wafa’ Media Foundation last week released a PR poster titled “The Specter of Terrorism,” stating in English, “You will pay very expensive price for your war on Islam.” The message added: “We will take revenge for the blood of Muslims on your land, we will kill the young before the older watch this.”

The Wafa’ posters are circulated largely on Telegram. One recent release was labeled “Manhattan” with a backdrop of burning, crumbling skyscrapers and a semi-truck — significantly more truck than the flatbed pickup Sayfullo Saipov rented from Home Depot — and showed a masked, armed jihadist standing before the scene. Whereas this jihadist wielded a rifle, Saipov brandished a paintball gun and a pellet gun — and had a stun gun in his truck — before he was shot in the abdomen by a real bullet from an NYPD officer.

“O worshippers of the cross in USA,” the poster stated. “Our lone wolves will come to you from where you do not know and we will terrorize you wherever you are and we will show you multitudes of terror and pain that you showed to the Muslims, and what is coming is more bitter and greater.”…

Oklahoma Muslim who beheaded female coworker says Qur’an commands beheading

He says also that he has no remorse for his actions, and will attain Paradise. Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn, meanwhile, says that Nolen “didn’t know the difference between right and wrong, and (he) didn’t know the consequences of his actions.”

Nonsense. He knows very well the difference between right and wrong. The Qur’an says “When you meet the unbelievers, strike the necks” (47:4), and as far as he is concerned, that is right, and he knows that as a consequence of his actions, he will go to Paradise. Mashburn is saying that standard Islamic belief is tantamount to insanity. Does he have any idea of how “Islamophobic” he is being?

“‘I Beheaded The First Woman’ – Alton Nolen Interviews Played In Trial,” by Tiffany Liou, News 9, September 20, 2017:

NORMAN, Oklahoma – Throughout the trial, defendant Alton Nolen has been sitting in the court room with his eyes closed and his hands covering his ears. But today, the jurors heard two interviews where Nolen was attentive and responsive.

The interviews were conducted by Moore police detectives and FBI agents. One was done the day after the beheading incident at Vaughan Foods in Moore. The other was done two days later with the same officers. They spoke to the suspect at the hospital.

During the first interview, Nolen admitted to the crime on both victims, Colleen Hufford and Traci Johnson. They asked him about stabbing Johnson and he responded, “That was right after I beheaded the first woman.”

Nolen said in the interview that the Quran taught him that anyone who oppressed him should be beheaded, and he talked a lot about his own interpretation of the Muslim religion.

When asked if he felt remorse or regret for his actions, Nolen responded “no”. He said he would go to heaven….

Then on Monday, the defense will make their case. The defense is asking the jury to find Nolen not guilty by reason of insanity.

After court, Mashburn said, “It’s all in the context of what legally insane means. And that is (Nolen) didn’t know the difference between right and wrong, and (he) didn’t know the consequences of his actions. And clearly he knew what he did was wrong.”…

‘Moderate’ Muslims slit Christian’s throat, boast ‘Jesus did not come to save him’

Establishment counter-terror analyst Max Abrahms says that the Al-Nusra Front uses “more moderate methods” than the Islamic State, and is “trading” on its “more moderate branding.” Here they are slitting the throat of a Christian and saying: “We are from the Al-Nusra Front and have come to make lives miserable for the Crusaders.” Moderate branding!

“Syria: Militants slit a Christian’ throat, mock his wife saying ‘Your Jesus did not come to save him from us,’” by Madeeha Bakhsh, Christians in Pakistan, June 24, 2016 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

In a recent heinous incident, jihadists slit throat of a Christian in front of his wife, giving a vent to their odium for Christianity, they mocked the woman in a derogatory way saying “Your Jesus did not come to save him from us.” This odious incident took place in Syria’ ancient town Maalula; which was invaded by the militants few days ago.

A Christian woman resident of Maalula told the media saying, “They arrived in our town at dawn and shouted ‘We are from the Al-Nusra Front and have come to make lives miserable for the Crusaders,” the woman who was identified as Marie, further narrated that after their first advance against the town, Christians started fleeing.

The town was home to considerable large Christian population. According to estimate, about 5,000 of the residents of Maalula speak Aramaic, the language spoken by Jesus himself. The militant outfit has tightened its grip over the Maalula in order to use it as a launching base for anti-regime attacks….

Islamic State beheads 4-year-old girl forces mother to soak hands in daughter’s blood

Unimaginable savagery. Monstrous. And to think our President and his party cover and protect their soldiers like Omar Mateen, scrubbing and whitewashing the ideology that fuels their barbarity. Think about that.

“ISIS beheads four-year-old girl then forces mother to soak hands in dead daughter’s blood,” By Rebecca Flood, The Express Jun 19, 2016:

BARBARIC Islamic State (ISIS) jihadis beheaded a four-year-old girl in front of her horrified mother then made her soak her hands in her dead daughter’s blood.

Jihadis beheaded a four-year-old girl in front of her horrified mother

The twisted group decapitated the defenceless little girl in what they described as a ‘punishment’ for her mother’s behaviour.

The youngster was brutally murdered in Raqqa, Syria, ISIS’s de-facto capital in the war- torn country.

A witness, who was too afraid to be named, said: “A mother told her four-year daughter to go home and she refused.

“And then the mother told her unintentionally ‘go home and I swear to God that I will behead you if you don’t’.”

A vile ISIS fighter overheard the exchange and allegedly said: “Since you swore to Allah you should behead her.”

Islamic State beheads Christian priest for praying at the altar of his church

“No state or leader had mentioned or condemned the horrific gesture of the terror group for punishing a man for offering prayer.” Why are Church leaders in the West so uniformly silent about the Muslim persecution of Christians?

Jean-Clément Jeanbart, the Melkite Greek Catholic Archbishop of Aleppo, gave a recent interview with a French reporter, in which he was highly critical of the mainstream media and even of his fellow bishops for ignoring the Muslim persecution of Middle Eastern Christians. “The European media,” he charged, “have not ceased to suppress the daily news of those who are suffering in Syria and they have even justified what is happening in our country by using information without taking the trouble to verify it.” And as for his brother bishops in France, “the conference of French bishops should have trusted us, it would have been better informed. Why are your bishops silent on a threat that is yours today as well? Because the bishops are like you, raised in political correctness. But Jesus was never politically correct, he was politically just!”

Archbishop Jeanbart was not the first to say this. “Why, we ask the western world, why not raise one’s voice over so much ferocity and injustice?” asked Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, the head of the Italian Bishops Conference (CEI). Syriac Catholic Patriarch Ignatius Ephrem Joseph III Younan appealed to the West “not to forget the Christians in the Middle East.” The Melkite Greek Catholic Patriarch Gregory III has also said: “I do not understand why the world does not raise its voice against such acts of brutality.”

But the Patriarch should have understood, since he is a major part of the problem. After all, herecently said: “No one defends Islam like Arab Christians.” It is to defend Islam that Western clerics do not raise their voice against such acts of brutality. It is to pursue a fruitless and chimerical “dialogue” that bishops in the U.S. and Europe keep silent about Muslim persecution of Christians, and enforce that silence upon others. Robert McManus, Roman Catholic Bishop of Worcester, Massachusetts, said it on February 8, 2013 as he was suppressing a planned talk at a Catholic conference on that persecution: “Talk about extreme, militant Islamists and the atrocities that they have perpetrated globally might undercut the positive achievements that we Catholics have attained in our inter-religious dialogue with devout Muslims.”

Remember that Mohamed Atta, about the plane he had hijacked on September 11, 2001, told passengers over the intercom: “Stay quiet and you’ll be OK.” The Catholic Church appears to have adopted that statement as its policy regarding Muslim persecution of Christians. When will Pope Francis canonize Atta?

“ISIS decapitates another Christian priest in Syria,” by Madeeha Bakhsh, Christians in Pakistan, May 18, 2016 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Terror group Islamic State beheads another Christian this time a priest in the conflict-torn Syria. The Catholic priest Father Yacob Boulos, was severely punished for offering prayers in his church. Media has remained silent over this incident as this incident actually took place on February 18, but nobody reported it unless it was brought out by an Italian newspaper.

There are reliable reports are that Father Yacob Boulos, was beheaded by the terror group’ militants after he prayed on the altar of his church. He was punished for his faith. The Italian newspaper said,” “Boulos Yacoub” was a priest who professava his faith in Syria.”

The Italian newspaper whined over the fact that international media had completely overlooked the plight of these Christians, and this incident went unreported. His crime was only being a man of faith. Condemnation has been heaped on the international leader and community for not paying attention quandary of these Christian priests.

No state or leader had mentioned or condemned the horrific gesture of the terror group for punishing a man for offering prayer. The only sources of this news are the are the curie of Italian provinces via a press release inside.

Muslima beheads 3-year old as ‘revenge for Russian airstrikes on Muslims in Syria’

This is just as I predicted. In this piece that I wrote yesterday, I asked: “Could Gulchekhra Bobokulova’s Islamic State boyfriend have exhorted her to kill the child in her care in revenge for the children allegedly killed in Russian airstrikes against the Islamic State?”

And today we learn that this was indeed the beheader’s motive: “In a video apparently made during interrogation by Russian police, Gyulchekhra Bobokulova, 38, said she committed the murder as ‘revenge [against] those spilling blood,’ and had planned to move to Syria. Asked who she was talking about, she said: ‘Putin bombs from planes.’ ‘Why do you bomb us Muslims? Why does no one say anything? They also want to live … look, little, little children,’ she added. Asked to confirm that was why she killed the child she said: ‘Yes. As revenge.’”

“She never spoke of Allah before.” But she had recently become religious and started wearing the hijab.

“Nanny beheaded four-year-old ‘in revenge for Russian bombing of Syria,’” by Roland Oliphant, Telegraph, March 3, 2016:

The nanny who beheaded a four-year-old child has said she committed murder in revenge against Vladimir Putin for bombing Muslims in Syria, according to a video posted online.

In a video apparently made during interrogation by Russian police, Gyulchekhra Bobokulova, 38, said she committed the murder as “revenge [against] those spilling blood,” and had planned to move to Syria.

Asked who she was talking about, she said: “Putin bombs from planes.”

“Why do you bomb us Muslims? Why does no one say anything? They also want to live … look, little, little children,” she added.

Asked to confirm that was why she killed the child she said: “Yes. As revenge.”

Ms Bobokulova, a citizen of Uzbekistan, was found clutching the head of a child and pacing the streets near the Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station in northwestern Moscow on Monday morning.

Witnesses said she shouted “Allahu akbar,” and claimed to be a terrorist and to have a bomb. Police found no explosives when they arrested her.

She said at a court hearing on Wednesday that “Allah commanded” her to kill Nastya M, a four-year-old girl whose parents hired her as a nanny 18 months ago.

Investigators have said they believe Ms Bobokulova was groomed to commit the murder by extremist associates. Police sources told Interfax on Wednesday that they are hunting two suspected “instigators” who are still at large.

In the video released late on Wednesday night, Ms Bobokulova said she wanted to go to Syria but had been unable to raise enough money for the journey.

Asked if she wanted to go to Syria join Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil), she said simply: “I don’t know. I wanted to live there.”

The Russian interior ministry has not confirmed the authenticity of the video, but Russian media quoted anonymous law enforcement sources saying it is genuine.

The confession video emerged as Ms Bobokulova’s family spoke out about the case for the first time.

Bakhretdin Turayev, Ms Bobokulova’s father, said his daughter had never previously shown any interest in religion or attended a mosque, and had not mentioned anything out of the ordinary when he waved her off from Samarkand airport after a two-month stay at the family home in Uzbekistan on January 23.

“She never spoke about Allah before. What did they find on her, what voices told her this?” he told Gazeta.ru, a Russian news site. “Before she returned to Moscow I asked her how she was feeling, if she was ok, if she was treated well there. She said everything was fine.”…

Yeah, this one’s a real puzzler. Investigators cannot and will not acknowledge that this woman might believe she has an imperative from her bloodthirsty god to kill unbelievers, and so they embark upon an endless search for some other motive.

“‘I am a terrorist’ – woman holds severed head of child outside metro station,” by Samuel Osborne, Independent.ie, February 29, 2016:

A woman has been arrested after she brandished a child’s severed head outside a metro station in Moscow.

Moscow investigators said in a statement the unnamed nanny was from Central Asia and that she was undergoing psychiatric testing to see if she was mentally sound and understood the significance of the crime they said she had committed.

Lifenews.ru, an online news portal with close contacts to the police, published video footage of a woman it identified as the nanny. Clad in black, she was seen wandering around the street holding up a child’s severed head high in the air.

The portal said a policeman had approached the woman to check her documents and that she had responded by removing the child’s head from a bag and begun shouting that she had killed the infant.

One reporter, from the RBC daily, said she had heard the woman screaming “Allahu Akbar” (God is Great).

“I was on my way to the metro station from home,” Polina Nikolskaya, the reporter, told Reuters.

“She was standing near the metro entrance and caught my attention because she was screaming Allahu Akbar. I saw that she had a bloodied head in her arms, but I thought it was not real. People in the crowd said it was real.”

Islamic State beheads teenager for apostasy

A hadith depicts Muhammad saying: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him” (Bukhari 9.84.57). The death penalty for apostasy is part of Islamic law according to all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence.

This is still the position of all the schools of Islamic jurisprudence, both Sunni and Shi’ite. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the most renowned and prominent Muslim cleric in the world, has stated: “The Muslim jurists are unanimous that apostates must be punished, yet they differ as to determining the kind of punishment to be inflicted upon them. The majority of them, including the four main schools of jurisprudence (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi`i, and Hanbali) as well as the other four schools of jurisprudence (the four Shiite schools of Az-Zaidiyyah, Al-Ithna-`ashriyyah, Al-Ja`fariyyah, and Az-Zaheriyyah) agree that apostates must be executed.”

Qaradawi also once famously said: “If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn’t exist today.”

“ISIS beheads Syrian teenager on charges of ‘apostasy,’” by Jan Nasro, ARA News, January 31, 2016 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

URFA – Extremists of the Islamic State (ISIS) beheaded on Saturday a Syrian teenager in the northern city of Jarablus after accusing him of apostasy.

The 14-year-old boy was arrested by ISIS militants for missing Friday prayers at the central mosque of Jarablus, where pro-ISIS preachers usually deliver speeches promoting the group’s alleged Caliphate.

Speaking to ARA News in Jarablus, civil rights activist Nasser Taljbini reported that the ISIS-led Sharia Court order the militants to behead the boy in public.

“Dozens of people attended the brutal execution, including the victim’s parents who were forced to witness the beheading of their own son,” Taljbini said.

“ISIS is trying to prove that it is still powerful despite all the military defeats. The group is trying to terrorize people through conducting such public punishments,” the source told ARA News.

Local sources in Jarablus said that ISIS sees in the teenagers as future jihadis who should receive a proper Sharia education in order to stay committed to the message of the so-called Caliphate.

What? But CAIR told me Sharia was entirely benign!

Christian invites Muslims to dinner — Response: “We’ll chop your head off”

Here in a nutshell is the encounter between Postmodern Man and the Man given to ancient and ineluctable realities of human nature. One wants to talk it all out, the other wants to kill. That’s all there is to it. One thinks we ought to be able to rise above all that, and the other doesn’t want to.

The Christian leaders of the West are so fanatically committed to “dialogue” with Muslim leaders that they ruthlessly ostracize and silence anyone who dares speak about the reasons why Canon Andrew White’s people are being persecuted. White’s own experience with his dinner invitation, however, shows how futile and self-defeating that “dialogue” really is: it hasn’t saved a single Christian from persecution, or changed a single Muslim’s mind about the necessity to persecute Christians. White himself has no illusions: “You can’t negotiate with them. I have never said that about another group of people. These are really so different, so extreme, so radical, so evil.” But if he repeats that in the comfortable and complacent rectories of the West, he is liable to be charged with “Islamophobia.”

“Canon Andrew White: ‘Vicar of Baghdad’ on leading a church in Iraq and being in the crosshairs of Isis,” by Cole Moreton, Independent, November 1, 2015 (thanks to Lookmann):

They were coming for him and his people. Friends were being killed or fleeing for their lives. So Andrew White did what he always does when faced with an enemy. “I invited the leaders of Isis [Islamic State] for dinner. I am a great believer in that. I have asked some of the worst people ever to eat with me.”

This extraordinarily self-confident priest is best known as the vicar of Baghdad, leader of a church in the chaos outside the protected Green Zone. He made his offer last year as the terrorist forces threatened to take the city. Did he get a reply?

“Isis said, ‘You can invite us to dinner, but we’ll chop your head off.’ So I didn’t invite them again!”

And he roars with laughter, despite believing that Islamic State has put a huge price on his head, apparently willing to pay $157m (£100m) to anyone who can kill this harmless-looking eccentric. Canon White was a doctor before he became a priest and could be one still, in his colourful bow-tie and double-breasted blazer with a pocket square spilling silk. But appearances are deceptive.

For the last two decades, he has worked as a mediator in some of the deadliest disputes on Earth, in Israel and Palestine, Iraq and Nigeria. He has sat down to eat with terrorists, extremists, warlords and the sons of Saddam Hussein, with presidents and prime ministers.

White has been shot at and kidnapped, and was once held captive in a room littered with other people’s severed fingers and toes, until he talked his way out of it. He is an Anglican priest but was raised a Pentecostal and has that church’s gift of the gab, even though multiple sclerosis (MS) makes him drawl like a posh barfly. “When I went on Radio 4 talking about Baghdad there were complaints because they thought I was drunk. I wasn’t!”

MS also affects his vision and his balance, but he claims to have come up with his own way of keeping the symptoms down, by injecting his own stem cells. A big man with a boyish enthusiasm, he declares himself afraid of nothing, not even the direct threat to his life.

“They’ve not sent an email telling me it’s off,” says White, 50, chuckling and looking at his travelling companion Terry, a former policeman. How does it feel to have that price on his head? “It feels good.” Terry raises his eyebrows and mutters, “While the head’s attached.”

It’s knockabout stuff, but let’s put this in context. White reopened St George’s church after the invasion of Iraq even though civil war raged and the diplomats and ex-pats who had once made up the congregation no longer dared to go there.

Iraqis came instead, and the congregation reached a peak of 6,500. They built a school, a clinic and food bank. White pledged to stay even as the sound of bombs grew louder. “We had Isis on the doorstep of Baghdad last year. I said to my people, ‘I will not leave you; don’t leave me.’ But many did leave me and they went to Nineveh and Mosul. Isis were there too. There was total mayhem.”

More than 1,200 men, women and children who worshipped with him have been killed in recent years, he says. Four boys he knew were beheaded because they refused to swear allegiance to Islam. The church caretaker was forced to watch as his five-year-old boy was cut in half.

There used to be 1.5 million Christians in Iraq but now there are only 260,000, he says. Some are calling it genocide. Surely he no longer believes that negotiations with Isis could work? White stares at me from behind owlish spectacles. “Can I be honest? You are absolutely right. You can’t negotiate with them. I have never said that about another group of people. These are really so different, so extreme, so radical, so evil.”

So what is to be done? “We must try and continue to keep the door open. We have to show that there is a willingness to engage. There are good Sunni leaders; they are not all evil like Isis.”

But surely there is only one logical conclusion to be drawn? He sighs, and answers slowly. “You are asking me how we can deal radically with Isis. The only answer is to radically destroy them. I don’t think we can do it by dropping bombs. We have got to bring about real change. It is a terrible thing to say as a priest.

“You’re probably thinking, ‘So you’re telling me there should be war?’ Yes!” …

14-year-old Muslim tells teacher: “You are on my beheading list”

“It is clear that he had been radicalized by Isis propaganda accessed by him over the internet.” How clear is it, really? How long are Western authorities going to persist in this delusion without ever asking themselves why the moderate, peaceful Muslim that they assume prevails in their countries is completely unable to withstand the appeal of what they firmly believe is a twisted, hijacked version of the religion? If this boy and so many others like him learned the true, peaceful Islam in their homes and their mosques, why did they so easily fall for this counterfeit Islam they found on the Internet? Why have 30,000 Muslims from 100 countries traveled to join the Islamic State? Why are imams worldwide so spectacularly failing to communicate the true peaceful nature of their religion to their own young people?

The cognitive dissonance is enormous, and growing by the day, but no one seems to notice or care.

“Baby-faced British terrorist, 14, who plotted from his parents’ suburban Blackburn home to kill police at an Anzac Day parade had an Isis phone screensaver and warned a teacher: ‘You’re on my beheading list,’” by Lucy Crossley, MailOnline, October 1, 2015:

A baby-faced British schoolboy who plotted to kill Australian police in an Anzac Day terror attack from his parents suburban home warned a teacher, ‘You are on my beheading list’, a court heard today.

From his bedroom in Blackburn, Lancashire, the 14-year-old, who had been radicalised by Islamic State propaganda online, urged Australian Sevdet Besim, 18, to behead police officers at an Anzac Day parade in Melbourne.

Manchester Crown Court was told today that the attack would ‘in all probability’ have resulted in a number of deaths if it was not thwarted.

As they discussed their plans for the attack, the boy – who was acting in the role of ‘organiser’ – encouraged Besim to break into the home of a vulnerable person living alone, to get his ‘first taste of beheading’ and told him to make a martyrdom video, the court heard.

He told Besim he could either attack police with a gun, a car or a knife and advised him to kill an officer by running them over before beheading the victim and moving onto the next target.

As well as the Australia plot, the schoolboy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been researching potential targets in Britain and teaching himself how to detonate devices and explosives. On his hit list were a police station and a town hall as well as defence and aerospace firm BAE Systems.

He also showed gory videos of bloodied bodies in school, told a teacher he was ‘on his beheading list’ ahead of another member of staff, and had an Isis flag as his mobile phone screensaver, the court heard.

The boy, now 15, became Britain’s youngest convicted Islamic terrorist in July after he admitted inciting terrorism overseas, and is being sentenced in Manchester this week.

Outlining the case at the start of the two-day sentencing hearing, prosecutor Paul Greaney QC said the boy’s plot with Besim, who is thought to have used an online pseudonym ‘Illyas’, had the aim of beheading police officers.

‘It is clear that the purpose of this proposed attack was to promote the ideology and agenda of Isis,’ said Mr Greaney. ‘A striking feature of the case is that, at the time of the offence, the defendant was aged just 14.

‘It is clear that he had been radicalised by Isis propaganda accessed by him over the internet and the evidence establishes that the contact with his Australian collaborator was instigated by a well-known Isis recruiter and propagandist named Abu Khaled al-Cambodi, himself an Australian, who has promoted the idea of terrorist attacks in his homeland.

‘There is no doubt that there was a determination on the part of the defendant and Sevdet Besim that the plot should be carried through and the contact between the two included frequent references to the production of a martyrdom video by Besim for al-Cambodi which, no doubt, al-Cambodi intended to use for propaganda purposes.

‘In the event, fortunately, the authorities here and in Australia intervened and a plot that would in all probability have resulted in a number of deaths was thwarted.’ …
