Antifa Wikipedia Page Edited to Downplay FBI/DHS Terrorism Categorization

But go to my Wikipedia page, or that of any of my colleagues. Our pages are all wrong, full of lies, leftist false charges, and defamation. But they’re all unchangeable. Any attempt to correct them in favor of the truth is immediately edited out by Wikipedia’s leftist moderators.

“Antifa Supporters Edit Group’s Wikipedia Page to Downplay Terrorism Categorization,” by T.D. Adler, Breitbart, September 27, 2017 (thanks to Christian):

Following Breitbart’s previous coverage of edits made to the Antifa Wikipedia page downplaying the group’s violence, a discussion including Antifa supporters led to the removal of language from the group’s Wikipedia entry intro noting DHS and FBI have categorized Antifa violence as terrorism.

These editors have also fought to include material labeling former Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos as “alt-right,” a label he has repeatedly rejected, to provide “context” to violent disruption that caused the cancellation of his Berkeley speaking engagement last February.

Wikipedia for several weeks included in the introduction to its article on Antifa in the United States a line noting Politico’s report that the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI under the Obama administration internally classified Antifa violence as domestic terrorism. Both that and other material regarding the movement’s characterization as a terrorist group has been hotly contested by editors on the article.

Doug Weller, a member of the site’s Arbitration Committeeinitiated a discussion on removing the material from the intro, questioning the veracity of Politico’s reporting on the matter. Including Weller, eight editors weighed in, with only two opposing the deletion. However, two of those wanting the material removed from the intro have apparent sympathies for Antifa.

One of the two editors, named “Arms & Hearts,” identifies himself as an anarcho-communist and includes an Antifa image on his profile page. The other is “Bobfrombrockley” who identifies himself as a Marxist and states on his profile page that he “supports antifa in combating fascism in both word and action.”

As the other six editors were closely divided on whether to have the terrorist designation in the intro, these two were enough to establish a firm “consensus” on removing the material, and the anarcho-communist Antifa supporter implemented the decision. Both he and another editor then removed otherreferences to terrorism from the article. While material about the Politico report was still included in the body of the article, Weller editedit to caveat the veracity of the report.

The Marxist Antifa supporter, in addition to another edit downplaying Antifa violence, added a statement that Yiannopoulos was “alt-right” despite this not being included in the cited New York Times article. He justified this edit by stating it was to provide “context” to Antifa violence at Yiannopoulos’ UC Berkeley event in February that was canceled for safety reasons. Editor Policpolicy cited the lack of sourcing and removed the label, sparking an edit war with editors adding other sources to support the label. On his own Wikipedia page, Yiannopoulos is only described as being “associated” with the alt-right.

Editor Darkness Shines brought the issue to the article’s discussion page, stating the sources were opinion pieces, but other editors rejected his position, including the two Antifa supporters. While some sources cited would not qualify as opinion, these sources did not mention Antifa or the violence at UC Berkeley. Wikipedia’s policy on material about living people strictly prohibits “original research” including unpublished synthesis where editors use reliable sources about an unrelated topic to imply a conclusion otherwise not supported by the sources.

Due to his repeated attempts to remove the alt-right label, Darkness Shines was reported for edit-warring, where he argued the policy on material about living people permitted his edits, as removing material violating the policy is often exempt from edit-warring restrictions. Administrator Bishonen blocked Darkness Shines for 31 hours without addressing this argument.

Mention of Breitbart’s coverage of the editing on the article also became a point of contention for Wikipedia users. After Drmies, another member of the Arbitration Committee, congratulated E. M. Gregory for being mentioned in Breitbart’s reporting on the dispute, Gregory added a link to the piece at the top of the article discussion page where media coverage of Wikipedia articles is noted. Drmies removed it stating Breitbart is an “unreliable source.”

Gregory started a discussion about this claim on Wikipedia’s Reliable Sources Noticeboard, noting it was standard to mention media coverage of Wikipedia articles, including by Breitbart. Editors were divided on the matter, with one opposed to mentioning the coverage going so far as to suggest it would be “tantamount to harassment” to note the piece at the top of the talk page.

One other dispute on the article concerned a section on the use of Twitter by members of the alt-right to spread fake claims of Antifa violence to further associate the movement with violence, which was originally part of a “smear campaigns by the far right” section. Editor Saturnalia0 removed the section stating it was excessive to include, and other editors restored the section, including yet another member of the Arbitration Committee, GorillaWarfare….

Brooklyn Muslim: ‘Then we will go to FBI headquarters, kill the FBI people’

Apparently Akhror Saidakhmetov didn’t get the memo on how the FBI steadfastly refuses to acknowledge the motivating ideology behind the jihad threat, falsely claims that “right-wing extremists” are as much or more of a violent threat than jihadis, and apparently tried to get foes of jihad terror and Sharia oppression murdered. If he had known all that, he might have had a better sense of who his friends were.

“Man arrested in Villa Park, charged with fundraising for ISIS fighters,” by Jason Meisner, Chicago Tribune, September 1, 2017:

A 31-year-old truck driver living in west suburban Villa Park was arrested by the FBI on Thursday on charges out of New York that alleged he raised money in 2015 to help send fighters from the U.S. to ISIS fronts in Syria.

At a hearing in federal court in Chicago, prosecutors asked that Dilshod Khusanov, a native of Uzbekistan, be detained as a flight risk and danger to the community.

He would then be taken to Brooklyn to face the two-count indictment charging him with conspiring and attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State and a second terrorist organization, al-Nusrah Front. Each count carries a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted….

According to a release from the U.S. attorney’s office in Brooklyn, Khusanov was part of a cell of “like-minded individuals” seeking to aid ISIS and al-Nusrah Front in Syria.

Four other members of the support group, as well as two people who allegedly tried to travel to Syria to join ISIS fighters, have already pleaded guilty to their roles in the conspiracy, according to prosecutors.

The investigation began when one of Khusanov’s co-conspirators, Abdurasul Juraboev, posted on an Uzbek-language website that he wished to martyr himself on U.S. soil, possibly by assassinating then-President Barack Obama, according to prosecutors.

Another co-conspirator, Akhror Saidakhmetov, was arrested in February 2015 at Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to travel to Turkey and then Syria “for the purpose of waging violent jihad on behalf of ISIS,” according to the charges.

Khusanov helped fund those efforts by providing his own money and promising to raise other funds to help pay Saidakhmetov’s travel expenses, prosecutors alleged….

In one conversation from November 2014, Saidakhmetov talked about joining the U.S. military as an ISIS spy, according to a criminal complaint. When Juraboev criticized that plan, Saidakhmetov responded he could always just “open fire on American soldiers and kill as many of them as possible,” the complaint alleged.

Two months later, Saidakhmetov was recorded by an FBI informant talking about another plan to secure an automatic weapon and shoot a police officer, the complaint alleged.

“Boom … then we will take his gun, bullets and a bulletproof vest (and) do the same with a couple of others,” Saidakhmetov allegedly said. “Then we will go to FBI headquarters, kill the FBI people.”

James Comey: Not Just Incompetent, But He Placed American Lives at Risk

Also in 2015, two terrorists attempted to kill attendees at an event in Garland, TX hosted by anti-Jihad activist Pamela Geller, at which participants were drawing images of Muhammad, which is considered a sacrilege by Muslims. The terrorists had enough ammunition to kill dozens of people and they did wound one security guard before being shot dead. But the attack could have been prevented because not only did the FBI know the terrorists were planning something but, as 60 Minutes reported, they had an undercover agent working with them who sent an encouraging text to the terrorists three weeks prior to the attack: “Tear up Texas.”

That’s bad enough, but 60 Minutes also revealed that this agent was actually at the location of the terror attack. He was in a car behind the car containing the terrorists but when they opened fire on a security guard, his reaction was to photograph them. He did not intervene. Why not? And why weren’t more FBI agents placed at the event to stop the attack? Or prevent it before it even started? Why did they not even alert Pamela Geller, the organizer of the event? As Geller states, “It’s hard to escape the conclusion that the Obama FBI wanted me and the other speakers at the even dead.” This was a display of incredible incompetence, but neither the FBI nor Comey have ever been forced to explain their actions.

Why did they not even alert Pamela Geller, the organizer of the event? Indeed. Comey should have been fired then.

garland texas isis attack.jpgJAMES COMEY: NOT JUST INCOMPETENT BUT HE PLACED AMERICAN LIVES AT RISK

By Steve Baldwin, American Spectator, May 12, 2017:

A record of political correctness in the war on terror.

FBI Director James Comey was incompetent and as FBI Director, his policies placed the lives of American citizens at risk. An in-depth look at his record as FBI Director reveals an incredible naivety toward the Islamic terror threat and a willingness to appease radical Muslims at the expense of protesting Americans. This piece will not address Comey’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal or his failure to investigate the obvious illegal pay-for play schemes concocted by the Clinton Foundation.

Nor will it look at his failure to prosecute anyone associated with the IRS’s effort to silence hundreds of political groups during Obama’s reelection or his refusal to come clean about his knowledge of how numerous Americans were “unmasked” for having the audacity of associating with Donald Trump. No, this is just a peek at how the FBI under Comey handled the Islamic terrorist threat. Thanks to a lazy media, the popular image most Americans have of Comey is that he’s a superb administrator, a straight shooting Boy Scout and an Eliot Ness kind of guy who aggressively puts all the bad guys away.

In 2011, in one of the most incredible acts of stupidity ever by the FBI, the agency agreed to purge its counter-terrorism documents of terms, concepts, and statements that a number of Islamic pressure groups objected to. The government watchdog group, Judicial Watch, forced the FBI to release documents about this purge which revealed that the FBI systematically purged some 900 pages and 392 presentations deemed “offensive” to Muslims. This occurred under the previous FBI director Robert Mueller as a result of meeting with Islamic pressure groups such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), both named in 2007 as unindicted co-conspirators in a case involving raising funds for Islamic terrorists.

This purge crippled the FBI’s ability to track terrorists and many believe the loss of this intelligence caused the FBI to miss clues that could have prevented future terrorist attacks. Indeed, Judicial Watch actually called the purge “part of a broader Islamist ‘influence operation’ aimed at our government and Constitution.”

The purged documents including records linking the Muslim Brotherhood to terrorism, probably because the Obama Administration had, by this time, appointed a number of MB sympathizers to key positions and was quietly supporting Muslim Brotherhood political movements in a number of countries such as Egypt and Libya. The purge also deleted all usage of the term “radical Islam,” and any statement that defined “Jihad” as “Holy War,” even though that’s the definition used by Islamic terrorists. Strangely, the FBI also destroyed all documents linking al Qaeda to the 1993 World Trade Center and the 1996 Khobar Towers bombings, despite the fact these are important events in the terrorist timeline.

Judicial Watch also revealed that the purge also “removed references to mosques specifically as a radicalization incubator,” even though every intelligence service in the world knows that mosques are regularly used to plan and organize terror attacks. FBI agents were even told what words they could not use in writing reports on terror threats. Banned words included sharia, jihad, Muslim, Islam, Muslim Brotherhood, enemy, Hamas, Hezbollah and al Qaeda. The FBI was basically more concerned about the feelings of radical Muslims than the security of American citizens.

While the file purging occurred under Bureau head Robert Mueller two years before Comey took the helm, there is no evidence Comey made any effort to restore these files and all evidence indicates that he continued to use this politically correct mindset as he investigated the Jihadist threat in the U.S.A. And it soon became a heavy price to pay.

Indeed, one of the FBI documents obtained by JW titled “Guiding Principles: Touchstone Document on Training” stated that “mere association with organizations that demonstrate both legitimate (advocacy) and illicit (violent extremism) objectives should not automatically result in a determination that the associated individual is acting in furtherance of the organization’s illicit objective(s).”

In other words, the FBI was instructing its agents that if a person is found to be involved with a group that advocates “violent extremism,” they are not to assume the person is involved with violent extremism! This give-the-benefit-of-the-doubt-to-potential-terrorists mindset is what may have caused the FBI to ignore clues that could have stopped the Ft. Hood, Orlando, San Bernardino, and other terrorist attacks even though it had prior knowledge about the Islamic extremist connections of those who carried out those attacks.

Again, while this FBI document was produced pre-Comey, it is clear from the FBI’s performance that he never disavowed the “Guiding Principles” mindset and that they continued to follow the philosophy of appeasing Muslim pressure groups even at the expense of protecting Americans.

Indeed, Comey never broke with any of Director Mueller’s appeasement policies. For example, the FBI under Comey continue to maintain friendly ties with radical Islamic groups, namely the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the group mentioned earlier as a co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial. Even though the Justice Department banned the FBI from associating with CAIR, a number of FBI Field offices continued friendly relations with this extremist group. Ultimately, the Justice Department’s Inspector General (IG) investigated the FBI and its final report exposed the Bureau’s friendly interactions with CAIR at its Los Angeles, Chicago, New Haven and Philadelphia field offices.

Congressman Frank Wolf wrote, “Today, the Department’s Inspector General… confirms the blatant disregard of Bureau policy as well as multiple enacted Commerce-Justice-Science Appropriations reports with respect to interactions by the FBI with CAIR.” The DOJ IG report even revealed that the director of the Los Angeles FBI office urged his staff to disregard this policy: “Please instruct your folks at this time that they are not to abide by the [directive to have no contact with CAIR] but that their direction in regards to CAIR will come from the LA field office front office.” While this occurred at the very beginning of Comey’s term, there is no evidence that Comey did anything to discourage these contacts.

And it gets worse. Judicial Watch reported that the FBI in 2015 created an interactive website called “Don’t be a Puppet,” for the purpose of preventing “susceptible youth from getting recruited online by terrorists,” but they were pressured by Islamic groups to omit all mention of Islamic terrorism. Comey caved and the site was changed to feature white supremacists, militia groups, religious extremists and so on, even though terrorist acts by such groups are quite rare while Islamic terrorists have committed tens of thousands of terror acts worldwide since 9/11. The only time the website mentions Islam is when it explains that Islamic terrorist groups such as ISIS “do not represent mainstream Islam.”

But the idea that obscure militias and white supremacists pose a threat to the national security in the same way as do Islamic terrorists happens to be a favorite theme of the loony left and Comey seems to have bought into this fantasy. Indeed, in 2015, Comey’s g-men stormed into a meeting of the Republic of Texas, a Texan secessionist movement. At the time of the raid, reported WorldNetDaily, the group “was debating issues of currency, international relations and celebrating the birthday” of one of their members. Sounds threatening. None of these guys were wanted terrorists or had ever engaged in any activity remotely threatening national security. Nevertheless, they were all fingerprinted and had their cell phones seized. If Comey’s FBI is really spending time, money and effort investigating and harassing harmless groups like the Republic of Texas, no wonder the agency missed numerous clues on many high profile Islamic terrorist cases under Comey’s watch. Clearly, they are allocating its resources based on political correctness, not reality.

Before Comey became director, the FBI initiated a policy that actually banned the FBI from conducting surveillance of mosques and instructed agents to “remove their shoes” before entering a mosque (what if they have to chase a suspect?), wait for the worship service to be over before entering, and not allow police dogs to sniff for explosives. The rules do not appear to apply to investigations involving Christian churches. Nor did Comey make any effort to change this policy even though Mosques have repeatedly been implicated in Islamic terror plots worldwide.

Moreover, Comey continued Director Mueller’s practice of heavily recruiting Muslims to be agents with apparently very little vetting. Indeed, the FBI placed recruitment ads in the publications of extremist Islamic groups with the slogan “Today’s FBI. It’s for You.” And it paid off. Indeed, WorldNetDaily broke a story that a Muslim agent working for the Los Angeles FBI field office “tipped off a Muslim suspect under investigation for terrorism about FBI surveillance.”

In years past, such a violation would result in not just the agent being fired, but also being prosecuted. However, this agent was allowed to remain with the FBI with only a reprimand! Moreover, other Muslim FBI agents have been exposed for assisting radical Islamic groups but the only consequence has been a transfer to another FBI office. Congressional investigators should review the FBI’s hiring and vetting polices when it comes to Muslims, because it’s likely Comey may have hired a slew of agents who are more loyal to the Jihad than to the U.S.A. Again, there’s no evidence that Comey did anything to change or reform aggressive hiring policies which actually targeted radical Muslims, not moderates.

But let’s take a look at how Comey’s FBI actually handled a few of the more well known domestic terror cases during his tenure.

In 2015, an Islamic couple from Pakistan murdered 14 people and injured 22 others at an after work Christmas party in San Bernardino. The terrorist couple, Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, spent time in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and used bomb technology commonly used by al Qaeda. The two jihadists were linked to Tablighi Jamaat, an Islamic extremist sect with a history of supporting terrorism. However, all records related to this particular group were purged from the National Targeting Center database, according to former DHS counter-terror analyst Philip Haney, who stated that “this Administration is more concerned about the civil rights and civil liberties of foreign Islamic groups and foreign nationals than securing the freedom and security of the American public.” NTC’s data is shared with the FBI. Had Comey made any effort to restore these valuable counter-terrorism files, there’s a chance the Bureau could have prevented this attack. But again, there is no record of any push-back by Director Comey to recover counter-terrorism files. Too bad, it would have saved American lives.

When Ahmad Kan Rahami set off powerful bombs in Manhattan in 2016, injuring 31 people, it was reported by the New York Times that Rahami’s father had informed the FBI two years previously that “he feared his son was a terrorist.” The FBI investigated and cleared him, even though, as the Times reports, “they never interviewed Mr. Rahami.” Nor did they adequately scrutinize the suspicious trips Rahami made overseas to both Pakistan and Quetta. It is likely those trips were to receive bomb-making training. Why would the FBI not even question him? Is this how the FBI “clears” potential terrorists under James Comey?

In 2016, Omar Mateen, murdered 49 people and injured 53 at an Orlando nightclub. The FBI twice investigated Mateen; one investigation was initiated because Mateen was in contact with a suicide bomber; the 2nd one began because he made threatening comments to co-workers. Both investigations were closed; the later one due to FBI’s belief that Mateen was making terrorist threats only as a reaction to “being marginalized because of his Muslim Faith.”

Yes, the FBI believed that the problem was not Mateen, but rather his “racist” co-workers. The FBI also knew Mateen had traveled to Saudi Arabia in 2011 and that his father posted pro-Taliban videos online. Finally, a gun store owner called the FBI shortly before the attack to report Mateen’s effort to buy body armor and ammunition. But the FBI did nothing. Due to political correctness, the FBI could not or would not connect the dots and 49 people paid the price. Moreover, Mateen attended a radical mosque in Orlando, but since Comey’s FBI refused to investigate terror-supporting mosques, they cut themselves off from finding out any additional information about Mateen. Incredibly, in response to this murderous attack, FBI special agent Ron Hopper announced that “civil rights violations are a priority for the FBI,” referring not to the victims of Mateen, but to anyone who might say anything negative about Muslims. This is not a joke.

Lastly, the FBI under Comey has ignored a large network of domestic terrorist training compounds. In his book, Twilight in America, author and researcher Martin Mawyer documents the existence of at least two dozen compounds in rural areas operated by a terror group known as “Muslims of America (MOA).” MOA’s Islamic name is “Jamaat ul-Fuqra” and its leader is Sheikh Mubarik Ali Shah Gilani, a radical jihadist cleric who mentored the Christmas Day bomber and many other terrorists. He has declared jihad on America and his compounds are clearly involved with training jihadists. Indeed, MOE members were involved with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Before Obama came to power, the FBI prepared a report about these Islamic warriors: “MOA members have participated in ten murders; one disappearance; three fire bombings and one attempted firebombing and two explosive bombings with one attempted bombing…. the leadership of the MOA extols members to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam which Include the U.S. Government.…members of the MOA are encouraged to travel to Pakistan to receive religious and military/terrorist training from Sheikh Gilani.”

There is little doubt the FBI possesses enough information about MOA’s activities to obtain court warrants to search their compounds or wiretap its phones, but Mawyer says that his sources tell him “the FBI under Comey showed no interest in investigating these compounds.” Mawyer says while a few field agents understand what these camps are really all about, many in the FBI “Think they are just Muslims who want to be left alone.” Sure. Meanwhile, these compounds continue training jihadists unimpeded. Mawyer has spent twenty years researching MOA and its network of compounds but Comey wouldn’t know him from Adam. In any case, the latest chatter from MOA operatives is a fear that Trump will actually close down their compounds. They will miss Comey dearly.

While Comey made quite a media splash informing Americans that the FBI is investigating ISIS-related terrorists in all 50 states, one now has to wonder how many of these investigations are just for show? Or how many cases will the FBI drop for fear of offending Muslims?

If Congress would spend more time investigating the FBI’s competency, rather than phony Russian conspiracy theories, perhaps someday we will have an FBI that’s not driven by political correctness. In the age of terrorism, we need a FBI Director who is fearless and aggressive in investigating Islamic terrorism. Comey has bungled many high profile Islamic terror cases under his watch. Trump did the right thing by firing him and he needs to now hire someone who will ignore political correctness and do what is necessary to keep America safe from Islamic terrorism.

FBI role in ISIS attack in Garland, TX is major scandal on Comey’s watch

James Comey has been fired, and not a moment too soon, but questions linger. 60 Minutes ran a feature recently about the FBI’s curious role in the May 2015 Garland jihad attack at a free speech event co-organized by Pamela Geller and me. It was, predictably enough, viciously biased, sloppy, and incomplete, but it was nonetheless illuminating in raising a hard and unanswerable question: did the FBI want Pamela Geller and me dead?

Despite the fact that the jihad attack took place at our event, neither Geller nor I appear, except in one still photo, in the 60 Minutes piece. All they say is that “a self-described free speech advocate named Pamela Geller was holding a provocative contest.”

The contempt fairly leapt from the screen. “A self-described free speech advocate”? Did 60 Minutes mean that Pamela Geller didn’t have the requisite degree in free speech advocacy? Or that she wasn’t really a free speech advocate? What they really mean, of course, is that she is not on the Left, and so cannot be celebrated as a free speech advocate the way the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists, who were all Leftists, can be.

60 Minutes also gave a nod to Sharia blasphemy laws by describing the contest as “provocative.” It was an art exhibit, featuring historical and modern images of Muhammad, some created by Muslims. It was only provocative to Muslims who believe in Islam’s death penalty for blasphemy (and brainwashed dhimmis). Was 60 Minutes implying endorsement of that death penalty? Why, yes. If our event was provocative, the shooters were justifiably provoked.

Meanwhile, CBS gave a lot of space to Usama Shami, the imam of the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, from which the jihadis came, allowing him to exonerate the mosque of any responsibility for “radicalizing” the jihad attackers. 60 Minutes didn’t mention what Simpson’s friend Courtney Lonergan told the Arizona Republic:

“Simpson would never waver from the teachings he picked up in the mosque and elsewhere….He was one of those guys who would sleep at the mosque. The fact that he felt personally insulted by somebody drawing a picture had to come from the ideological rhetoric coming out of the mosque.”

60 Minutes also doesn’t challenge Shami on his lies right after the attack, when he said that the jihadis were not regular members of the mosque.

Despite all the predictable politically correct whitewashing and appeasement, CBS did a good job of highlighting a curious and still unexplained aspect of the attack: the FBI clearly knew the attack was coming (although it didn’t bother to inform us or our security team), as the FBI agent was right there, following behind the jihadis, whom he had encouraged to “tear up Texas.” But even though they knew the attack was coming, they didn’t have a team in place to stop the jihadis. They had one man there, and one man only. The jihadis were not stopped by FBI agents, but by our own security team. If the jihadis had gotten through our team, they would have killed Pamela Geller and me, and many others. (They would no doubt have loved to kill Geert Wilders, but he left before they arrived.)

The Daily Beast wrote in August 2016 about how this undercover FBI agent encouraged the jihadis. The Beast’s Katie Zavadski wrote:

“Days before an ISIS sympathizer attacked a cartoon contest in Garland, Texas, he received a text from an undercover FBI agent. ‘Tear up Texas,’ the agent messaged Elton Simpson days before he opened fire at the Draw Muhammad event, according to an affidavit (pdf) filed in federal court Thursday.”

This was not entrapment. Simpson and Soofi were determined jihadis who had scouted out other targets. Simpson, along with Soofi and Abdul Malik Abdul Kareem, who supplied weapons to the pair and helped them train, sought information about pipe bombs and plotted to attack the Super Bowl, and planned to go to Syria to join the Islamic State (ISIS), long before anyone told him to “tear up Texas.”

But what was the FBI’s game in telling them to do that? Why didn’t they have a phalanx of agents in place, ready to stop the attack? Or did they want the attack to succeed, so that Barack Obama’s vow that “the future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam” would be vividly illustrated, and intimidate any other Americans who might be contemplating defending the freedom of speech into silence?

We twice asked the FBI for an investigation into this matter. They ignored us. Of course. After all, it isn’t as if this happened to someone important, like Linda Sarsour.

James Comey

James Comey

“10 Major FBI Scandals on Comey’s Watch,” Grabien News, May 9, 2017 (thanks to the Geller Report):

News just broke that President Trump is dismissing the director of the FBI, James Comey.

Comey will inevitably be remembered for the controversial role he played in the 2016 presidential election, where his agency conducted surveillance of the Trump campaign as well as investigated the Clinton camp for mishandling classified materials, giving both sides arguments for how the FBI ultimately swayed the vote.

But even before the 2016 campaign, the FBI endured a number of humiliations under Comey’s tenure. Most damning were revelations that the FBI was generally aware of almost every terrorist who successfully struck America over the last eight years.

Here are 10 of Comey’s biggest embarrassments at the FBI:

1. Before he bombed the Boston Marathon, the FBI interviewed Tamerlan Tsarnaev but let him go. Russia sent the Obama Administration a second warning, but the FBI opted against investigating him again….

3. The FBI had possession of emails sent by Nidal Hasan saying he wanted to kill his fellow soldiers to protect the Taliban — but didn’t intervene, leading many critics to argue the tragedy that resulted in the death of 31 [sic; actually 13] Americans at Fort Hood could have been prevented.

4. During the Obama Administration, the FBI claimed that two private jets were being used primarily for counterterrorism, when in fact they were mostly being used for Eric Holder and Robert Mueller’s business and personal travel….

8. The father of the radical Islamist who detonated a backpack bomb in New York City in 2016 alerted the FBI to his son’s radicalization. The FBI, however, cleared Ahmad Khan Rahami after a brief interview.

9. The FBI also investigated the terrorist who killed 49 people and wounded 53 more at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Fla. Despite a more than 10-month investigation of Omar Mateen — during which Mateen admitting lying to agents — the FBI opted against pressing further and closed its case.

10. CBS recently reported that when two terrorists sought to kill Americans attending the “Draw Muhammad” event in Garland, Texas, the FBI not only had an understanding an attack was coming, but actually had an undercover agent traveling with the Islamists, Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi. The FBI has refused to comment on why the agent on the scene did not intervene during the attack.

They have ignored us. Of course. After all, it isn’t as if this happened to someone important, like Linda Sarsour.

300 Refugees are Subjects of FBI Terror Investigations involving ISIS

Refugees Welcome, you greasy Islamophobe! What could possibly go wrong?

Let’s see. The Islamic State issued this call in September 2014:

So O muwahhid, do not let this battle pass you by wherever you may be. You must strike the soldiers, patrons, and troops of the tawaghit. Strike their police, security, and intelligence members, as well as their treacherous agents. Destroy their beds. Embitter their lives for them and busy them with themselves. If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be….If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him….

Of course we have seen just that happening in Europe and in North America. Yet still President Trump is a “racist” for trying to stop it.

U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions (right).

“300 refugees subjects of FBI terror investigations, U.S. officials say,” by Catherine Herridge, FoxNews.com, March 6, 2017:

Hundreds of people admitted to the United States as refugees are the subjects of FBI counterterrorism investigations involving ISIS – including some individuals from countries cited on President Trump’s revised travel ban.

Trump’s order, which was announced late Monday morning, temporarily bans travel to those without valid visas from Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen.

Nearly a third of the 1,000 FBI domestic terrorism cases – 300 – involve those admitted to the U.S. as refugees, a Department of Homeland Security official said Monday. That number was confirmed later in the day by Attorney General Jeff Sessions during a news conference. Officials said some of those 300 came to “infiltrate” the U.S., while others were radicalized once they were in the country….

One official also sought to clarify the apparent conflict with a leaked DHS report that appeared to show no connection between refugees and terrorism. The official said the draft document, which was reported by The Associated Press on Feb. 24, was not complete, had not been vetted through the interagency process and did not reflect classified information.FBI Director James Comey said in late 2015 that some 900 terror investigations were going on, and probes were active in every state. But Monday’s development marked the first official concrete linkage between the refugee program and terrorism….

Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly said the travel ban announced Monday was a key to ansuring the refugee program is conducted safely.”We must undertake a rigorous review of our visa and refugee vetting programs to increase our confidence in the entry decisions we make for visitors and immigrants to the United States,” Kelly said. “We cannot risk the prospect of malevolent actors using our immigration system to take American lives.”

Several refugees have already participated in mass attacks in recent years motivated by apparent Islamic radicalism.

Somali refugee Abdul Razak Ali Artan rammed his car into a crowd at The Ohio State University in November after posting a message on Facebook warning America not to interfere with Muslim communities. Somali refugee Dahir Adan reportedly yelled “Allahu Akbar” and asked one victim if they were Muslim during a September rampage in which he stabbed and injured nine people at a Minnesota mall. Seddique Mateen, the father of Pulse nightclub shooter Omar Mateen, is an Afghan refugee. Countless other refugees have been convicted of plotting attacks or planning to join ISIS abroad.

Though they didn’t enter the nation as refugees, several other terrorists have benefited from inadequate vetting to come to the U.S.

Tashfeen Malik, who was born in Pakistan, came to the U.S. on a K-1 “fiancée” visa prior to engaging in a deadly shooting spree with husband Syed Rizwan Farook that killed 14 and injured 22 others in December 2015. Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the brothers who orchestrated the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, were born in Kyrgyzstan and entered the U.S. when their family filed for asylum.

101 Muhammads Jailed by U.S. Anti-Terror Agencies Since 9/11

Not that this has anything to do with…uh…

Muhammed-collage

“101 Muhammads Jailed by U.S. Anti-Terror Agencies Since 9/11,” by Neil Munro, Breitbart, July 15, 2016:

U.S. anti-jihad agencies have jailed or arrested 101 men since 2001 who are named for Muhammad, the reputedly final and perfect prophet of Islam, despite President Barack Obama’s insistence that Islamic “violent extremism” – and the 101 Muhammads – have nothing to do with Islam.

One hundred Muhammads are listed in two Senate documents describing 711 arrests or convictions since 2001, when Khalid Sheikh Mohammed sent Mohamed Atta and 18 others to destroy the Twin Towers.

On July 5, immigrant Mohamed Bailor Jalloh was charged with aiding terrorists, making him the 101st Muhammad.

The lists do not include any Muhammads who have attacked European targets, such as Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, who used a truck to kill more than 80 people in Nice, France, on July 14.

The prevalence of so many Muhammads on the federal arrest tally obviously does not mean that all or most people named Muhammad are about to go jihad on their neighbors. Names are not destiny – only one Joseph has become a Russian dictator, only one Albert developed the theory of relativity, and only one Patrick reputedly drove the snakes out of Ireland. In fact, only a very small percentage of Muslims in America try to live up to their ideology’s violent ideals – and perhaps half have walked away from the Islamic faith of their fathers.

But the sheer number of Muhammads who try to emulate their namesake’s violent actions contradicts the insistence by federal officials – and by much of the media – that the terrorist attackers have nothing to do with true Islam.

“Muhammad” and its derivatives are very common Arabic names because orthodox Muslims teach that an Arab man named Muhammad conveyed Allah’s religion of Islam first to the Arabs and to the rest of the world, starting in 610. That belief is a near-universal source of pride among Muslim Arabs, even though many experts questionwhether Muhammad actually existed. Moreover, the Koran, which Muslims believe is an exact copy of Allah’s commandments, urges Muslims to emulate Muhammad, the reputed “Messenger of Allah.”

There has certainly been for you in the Messenger of Allah an excellent pattern for anyone whose hope is in Allah and the Last Day and [who] remembers Allah often.

That divine endorsement of Muhammad’s actions is significant for U.S. security officials because Islam’s scriptures also say Muhammad launched many wars and killed numerous people – including female critics and poets – during his lifetime. The dead poets include ‘Asma’ bint Marwan, Abu Afak, Al Nadir ibn al-Harith, Ka’b ibn al-Ashraf and Abu Rafi’ ibn Abi Al-Huqaiq, according to Islamic scriptures. He’s also a source for the Islamic commandment to murder homosexuals.

That’s very different from Christians’ emulation of Jesus, who reportedly said “Blessed are the meekfor they will inherit the earth,” urged his followers to Put your sword backin its place … all who draw the sword will die by the sword,” and then allowed himself to be killed on the Romans’ cross.

Unsurprisingly, the Senate’s lists of arrested or convicted Muslim terrorists include many people who carry Muhammad’s name – Hafiz Muhammad Sher, Muhammad Abid Hussain, Muhammad Riaz Saqi, Gufran Ahmed Kauser Mohammed, Yousef Mohamid Al Khattab, Muhamed Mubayyid, and Muhammad Hamid Khalil Salah, for example. The convicted terrorists and their helpers got sentences ranging from life in prison to suspended penalties.

The first Muhammad list is titled “DOJ Public/Unsealed Terrorism and Terrorism-Related Convictions 9/11/01-12/31/14.” The second is titled “Individuals Implicated in Terrorism Since March 2014,” because it also includes people who have been charged, but not found guilty. The two documents were prepared by the Senate Committee on the Judiciary’s subcommittee on immigration and the national interest.

A careful analysis of the lists show 100 people carrying a variant of the Muhammad name.

There were 29 Mohammeds, 12 Mohammads, one Mohamid, six Mohamuds, 28 Mohameds, 10 Mohamads, plus 10 Muhammads, one Muhamad, one Muhammed and two Muhameds.

That tally of 100 Muhammads includes two converts who adopted the name — Antonio Martinez AKA Muhammad Hussain, and Jose Pimentel AKA Muhammad Yusuf.

The tally excludes duplicate names. For example, Somali-born Mohamed Osman Mohamud was arrested after he tried to detonate a bomb in 2010 at a Christmas tree-lighting event in Portland, Washington. In 2013, Somali-born Mohamed Mohamed Mohamud was convicted in San Diego of “conspiring to provide material support to the [Somali-based] terrorist group al Shabaab.”

The tally of 101 Muhammads undermine the repeated insistence by President Obama and his deputies that the attacks have nothing to do with Islam.

In February 2015, for example, President Barack Obama insisted that “we are at war with people who have perverted Islam.”

After Omar Mateen killed 49 Americans at the Pulse gay nightclub attack, Obama’s spokesman insisted that terror attacks are launched by groups that “pervert the religion of Islam to justify their murderous, nihilistic agenda.” The spokesman continued:

What they’re also trying to do is to claim the mantle of Islam to describe themselves as holy warriors, or religious leaders, engaged in a conflict with the United States of America. They’re wrong about that. That is a false agenda. That is a myth. That is not true. And this administration and the previous administration have gone to great lengths to debunk that myth and make clear that these organizations are seeking to perpetuate a perverted form of Islam.

That claim is difficult to square with the Muhammad lists, or even with Mateen’s declared support for Muhammad during his 9-1-1 calls:

Omar Mateen: Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of Allah [Muhammad]. I wanna let you know, I’m in Orlando and I did the shootings.
Operator: What’s your name?
OM: My name is I pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the Islamic State.
O: Ok, What’s your name?
OM: I pledge allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi may Allah protect him, on behalf of the Islamic State.

Similarly, the 101st Mohammed –Mohamed Bailor Jalloh  — also justified his planned attack by citing Muhammad. The FBI’s plain-spoken court submission, which remarkably grants an Islamic title to the reputed prophet Mohammad, says;

When discussing attack operations, JALLOH stated he knows such operations are “100 percent the right thing.” JALLOH then asked if [the FBI source] ever thought about targeted operations (targeted killings). JALLOH then identified a person by name who had organized multiple Draw the Prophet Mohammad contests in the United States … this individual would be an ideal focus of a targeted attack because of his/her actions against the Prophet Mohammad….

VIDEO EXPOSE: CAIR to American Muslims ‘Defy Customs Agents’

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has called on Muslims to openly defy U.S. Customs Agents when questioned on travel from Islamic controlled countries by saying, “None of your Damn Business.”

Hassan Shibly (Executive Director CAIR, Florida) also encourages Muslims to agitate Customs Agents by saying Islamic prayers “very loudly” when questioned. Shibly also stated that he was, “Asked to do this by our friends from within the government.” Hassan Shibly was awarded by Nihad Awad (CAIR co-founder and National Executive Director) as “CAIR Chapter of the Year” in 2013.

CAIR’s open defiance of law enforcement has been well documented. In 2011 CAIR, California posted flyers on their website featuring a sinister looking FBI agent with the headlines, “Build a Wall of Resistance,” and “Don’t Talk to the FBI.”

The FBI has reportedly cut ties to CAIR after the Holy Land Foundation trial during which CAIR was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator along with its co-founder Omar Achmad as supporters of the terrorist group HAMAS.

In November 2014 the United Arab Emirates specifically listed CAIR as a “terrorist organization,” saying the group is linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, promotes extremism and incites and finances terrorism, adding that it wears “a cloak of democracy and liberalism.”

In July 2014, Breitbart released a story showing video of Shibly’s CAIR, FL group sponsoring an pro HAMAS rally in Miami where members were chanting, “We are HAMAS. We are Jihad.”

American Homegrown ‘Violent Extremists’ All Linked to Islamists

Close to one third were found to be plotting terrorist attacks in the United States and were caught either before or after executing the attack.

Amid the unprecedented rise in foiled terrorist attacks in the United States, a recent report found at least 75 “homegrown violent extremists” were operating across the U.S. in 2015. Of those extremists, nearly half tried to travel overseas – presumably to join terror groups – but only four percent succeeded.

New-Jersey-Report-HVE-IP

Map showing violent extremists in the U.S. from the recent report by the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness.

Close to one third were found to be plotting terrorist attacks in the United States and were caught either before or after executing the attack.

Figures issued by New Jersey’s Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness show that 65 of these extremist were affiliated with the Islamic State, while the rest were linked to al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), the Nusra Front, or other Islamic extremist groups and ideologies.

In addition, the New Jersey agency reported radicalized extremists were able to enter, operate and thrive in the U.S.

“In 2015, [homegrown violent extremists] demonstrated an ability to operate in New Jersey and throughout the United States while connecting with like-minded individuals online and acting independently from organized terrorist groups,” security officials said. “Since late 2014, a variety of radical groups such as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) have encouraged [extremists] to attack in their home countries.”

Extremists were found be operating particularly up and down the East Coast as well as in Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Alabama, Kansas, Texas and southern California.

Commenting on the report, the Washington Free Beacon states, “Congressional attempts to investigate the immigration histories of at least 113 foreign-born individuals snagged on terror charges since 2014 have been stymied by the Obama administration. There remain at least 1,000 open investigations into ISIS members residing in the United States.”

In other news, a former member of the 9/11 Commission that investigated the most lethal terrorist attack in the history of the U.S. said that, contrary to the official report, a classified section said six Saudi individuals may have been involved in the attack.

John Lehman, the former commission member, revealed that one of the Saudis involved is a man who worked at the King Fahad Mosque in Culver City, California (near Los Angeles).

Lehman, along with former federal prosecutor Richard Ben-Veniste called for a new investigation and the release of the 28 pages of classified documents from the original investigation.

Mosque Obama visited under FBI surveillance since 2010

Obama is the President of the United States. He must know all this. That he could plead ignorance of it is inconceivable. So in light of it, why did he go? And when he went, why did he not bother to include even a word about how the Muslims in the U.S., who he thinks abhor and eschew jihad violence and share his view that the Islamic State is un-Islamic, need to be vigilant in policing their own communities and working with law enforcement officials?

Why did he include nary a word about the need for mosques in the U.S. to institute programs to teach young Muslims such as Muhammad Hussain to reject the understanding of Islam that commands violence against unbelievers?

Islamic Society of Baltimore Welcome Obama

“Mosque Obama Visiting Graduated Terrorist Who Targeted Federal Building,” IBD, February 2, 2016:

Islamophilia: President Obama is conferring legitimacy on a Baltimore mosque the FBI just a few years ago was monitoring as a breeding ground for terrorists, after arresting a member for plotting to blow up a federal building.

IBD has learned that the FBI had been conducting surveillance at the Islamic Society of Baltimore since at least 2010 when it collared one of its members for plotting to bomb an Army recruiting center not far from the mosque in Catonsville, Md.

Agents secretly recorded a number of conversations with a 25-year-old Muslim convert — Antonio Martinez, aka Muhammad Hussain — and other Muslims who worshipped there. According to the criminal complaint, Martinez said he knew “brothers” who could supply him weapons and propane tanks.

“He indicated that if the military continued to kill their Muslim brothers and sisters, they would need to expand their operation by killing U.S. Army personnel where they live,” FBI special agent Keith Bender wrote. Martinez said that in studying the Quran he learned that Islam counsels Muslims to “fight those who fight against you.”

Sentenced to 25 years in prison in 2012, Martinez also stated in a social media posting that he wanted to join the ranks of the “mujahideen” in “Pakistan or Afghanistan (a country that struggle[sic] for the sake of allah).” Most of ISB’s board members are from Pakistan.

To help disrupt the plot, the FBI reportedly put an undercover agent in the mosque, which upset the leadership there. After protests, the FBI sent an official to ISB to take questions and mollify concerns the bureau was spying on Muslims.

Members of the mosque complained that the FBI tried to “entrap” Martinez and other Muslim terrorism suspects by sending “spies with Muslim names” into the mosque.

“If I was the president of the mosque, I would not let you come here without strip(-searching) you,” one member angrily told the FBI official, “because you might drop something (like a bug) to hear what’s going on here.” “The Muslim Link” newspaper described the questioner as Pakistani.

This is the mosque that will be honored with a visit from Obama on Wednesday, the first U.S. mosque visit of his presidency.

It’s now abundantly clear the White House failed to properly vet the venue. Reportedly, it let the Council on American-Islamic Relations choose the site, even though the FBI has banned CAIR from outreach because of known ties to the Hamas terrorist group.

“For a number of years we’ve been encouraging the president to go to an American mosque,” CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper said. “With the tremendous rise in anti-Muslim sentiment in our country, we believe that it will send a message of inclusion and mutual respect.”

As we reported Tuesday, ISB is affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America — which federal prosecutors in 2007 named a radical Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas front and an unindicted terrorist co-conspirator in a scheme to funnel more than $12 million to Hamas suicide bombers — and ISB has helped organize the terror-tied ISNA’s conferences.

The Shariah-compliant mosque was led for 15 years by a radical cleric — Imam Mohamad Adam el-Sheikh — who once represented a federally designated al-Qaida front group. El-Sheikh also has argued for the legitimacy of suicide bombings, according to the Washington Post.

We also first reported that ISB board member and vice president Muhammad Jameel has blamed American foreign policy — namely, U.S. support for Israel — for terrorism and the rise of Osama bin Laden.

“I hope (his death) does not camouflage the bigger picture, which is to look at what gave rise to OBL and what are the root causes of terror,” Jameel said in a local 2011 interview. “Just eliminating him does not resolve the longer-term problems, which I consider to be (U.S.) foreign policy.”

ISB board members are required to have “an in-depth understanding of the Shariah,” and “must take Islam as the way of life,” according to recently amended articles of incorporation papers filed with the state of Maryland.

We have also learned that ISB invited one of the imams of the Boston Marathon bombers’ mosque to headline a 2013 fundraiser for its Islamic school.

Then-Islamic Society of Boston imam Suhaib Webb spoke at the 25th anniversary banquet of ISB’s Al-Rahmah School — even though two days before 9/11, according to an FBI surveillance report, Webb was raising cash for a Muslim cop-killer together with al-Qaida cleric Anwar Awlaki, the hijackers’ spiritual leader.

So let’s recap. The mosque that is hosting the commander in chief, while receiving his historic benediction graduated a terrorist who plotted to blow up a local Army recruiting station, hired an imam who condoned suicide bombings and blames American “foreign policy” for terrorism.

Obama has to be willfully blind not to see all these ties to terror.
