Berlin’s ‘safe zone’ for women fails to prevent New Year’s Eve sex assaults

“The creation of the safety area was heavily criticised by a German police union boss. He said it communicates a ‘devastating message’: ‘By doing so, one is saying there are safe zones and unsafe zones’ for women, a message that could result in ‘the end of equality, freedom of movement and self-determination’, he said.”

Yes, that’s exactly where it is leading, and that destination is called Sharia, aka, Merkel’s legacy.

“Several women sexually assaulted in Berlin during NYE: Safety area a total failure,” Voice of Europe, January 1, 2018:

Berlin’s newly constructed “safety area” for women, could not prevent several sexual assaults during the city’s New Year’s Eve celebrations.

At this moment, at least 13 cases were reported to the police and seven suspects were arrested in the German capital. Police refused to provide information about the ethnicity or the nationality of the perpetrators.

Near midnight, Berlin’s police tweeted that they were receiving the first reports of sexual assaults, a fact that was quickly picked up by German media….

VIDEO: The Islamic Doctrine of Women

The role of women in Islam is very different than in our civilization. According to the will of Allah, women are to be subjugated to men in all things. They must lead their lives according to a doctrine that is based on the dictates of the Koran and how Mohammed treated his wives and the other women around him.

In The Islamic Doctrine of Women learn: about the small details of Mohammed in his home and bedroom where jealousy raged in his harem; how wife beating became a part of Islam after his move to Medina; how the Koran changed the laws of adoption so Mohammed could enjoy his daughter-in-law as a new member of his harem and how child brides have been a part of Islam every since Mohammed married six-year-old Aisha.

The ideology found in The Islamic Doctrine of Women rules hundreds of millions of women’s lives. Find out what their world is like under the Islamic doctrine of women.

Muslim migrants riot, attack police trying to arrest Muslims who sexually assaulted girls

Merkel’s new Germany in the full flower of multiculturalism.

“Girl, 17, is sexually assaulted by ‘three Afghan asylum seekers’ and Iraqi migrant is accused of sexual harassment as youths riot at German music festival,” MailOnline, July 17, 2017:

A German folk festival descended into violence after Iraqi and Afghan asylum seekers were accused of sexually harassing local women, it has been reported.

Several cases of sexual harassment and aggression were reported at Volksfest in the town of Schorndorf, Baden-Wuerttemberg state, police said.

No arrests have been made but police are treating a 20-year-old Iraqi man as a suspect – and three Afghan asylum seekers in a separate incident in which a 17-year-old girl was groped.

A crowd of more than 1,000 are reported to have hurled bottles at police officers who moved in to detain one of the suspects on charges of dangerous physical assault.

Police said small groups of youths, many of whom are said to be immigrants, then began to vandalise the town which is home to just 40,000 people.

Authorities claimed they were roving through the streets armed with knives and replica handguns, firing flares and teargas….

He said ‘the aggression and escalation of violence’ was unprecedented in the town, near Stuttgart, and that the local police force had to request backup from other cities.

Police said in a statement that many youths ‘with migrant backgrounds’ were seen in the crowd, but Eisele said that it was impossible to estimate a percentage.

In a press conference Monday, Eisele evoked the chaos of Cologne’s infamous 2015 New Year’s Eve celebrations when men of North African and Middle Eastern appearance groped and assaulted hundreds of women, sparking widespread public outrage….

ISIS justifies sex slavery of infidel women by quoting the Qur’an

“Question 4: Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female captive? Allah the almighty said, ‘successful are the believers who guard their chastity, except from their wives or the captives and slaves, that their right hands posses for then they are free from blame (Koran 23:5-6). Note: the words ‘captives and slaves’ don’t exist in the original version of Quran.”

With that “note,” Morocco World News is trying to give the impression that the Islamic State is playing fast and loose with the Qur’an in justifying slavery. This is, unfortunately, not the case. Those whom “their right hands possess” are universally understood by Islamic exegetes to be referring to slaves; even Islamic apologetic sources that try to minimize the reality of slavery in Islam acknowledge that this term refers to slave women.

“ISIS’s “Science” of Slavery: How ISIS Justifies Enslavement of Yezidi Women with Islam,” by Johanna Higgs and Amal Ben Hadda, Morocco World News, June 26, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Slavery, possibly one of the worst human horrors occurring on this earth at this time. In 2014, ISIS invaded the small town of Sinjar in Northern Iraq and began to carry out what has now been described as genocide against the Yezidi people. Thousands of young women and girls were dragged off to be sold as sex slaves in markets.

Yezidi women who have returned from captivity have described a system of organized rape and sexual assault, sexual slavery and forced marriage. Guidelines for slavery have been established and they have repeatedly used a narrow and selective interpretation of the Quran to justify their barbarous acts of sexual violence.

According to Amnesty International, it is estimated that there are still as many as 3 800 girls being held as slaves by ISIS.

In a small makeshift IDP camp in the centre of Erbil Bese Qawal, Hana Xwededa and Fayza Haji, three Yezidi women who fled their homes in Sinjar when the violence with ISIS began to unfold. They had spent over a year living with another small group of Yezidi’s in a few ramshackle buildings with little certainty as to what the future would hold. As they sat in their small home they quietly described the horror that forced them to flee,

‘When the first assaults started, ISIS tried to stop us from fleeing. They wanted to kill the men and take the women. They tried to capture us but we managed to escape into the mountains. They burned our home, we came here with nothing,’ said Qawal as she leaned back against the wall. All three women sat somberly in the room as small children darted in and out.

‘They wanted to take the women as slaves. Our family is safe but we know some of the girls who were captured. They are selling girls as young as 8 or 9 years old in markets.’

When asked why they believed that ISIS was targeting the Yezidis, Qawal looked at the ground and replied quietly, ‘by god I don’t know. We are poor people.’

The Yezidi’s have been persecuted by the surrounding Muslim communities for many centuries. A minority in the region the Yezidis constitute only 1.5 percent of Iraq’s estimated population of 34 million. Of Kurdish descent, the Yezidis are generally considered to be a pre Islamic sect with an oral tradition as opposed to written scripture, though there are several ideas as to where the Yezidi culture originated.

For ISIS this makes them unbelievers of the worst kind, more so than Christians and Jews who are considered to have some limited protections according to their descriptions in Quran as ‘people of the book.’

It is for this reason, that ISIS has proclaimed their right to enslave Yezidi women.

ISIS considers their rules of enslavement as a ‘science that has been almost absent in modern Islamic jurisprudence,’ or what is known as fiqh. The word figh is an Arabic term meaning ‘full understanding’ and refers to the body of Islamic law extracted from detailed Islamic sources.

In a pamphlet released by ISIS, they highlight the need to practice this ‘science’ throughout the Islamic Caliphate, which they seek to establish throughout the world.

This pamphlet, through its questions and answers, uses interpretations of the Quran, as defined by various Sunni Islamic scholars to justify their acts of slavery. These scholars, using interpretations as defined by the exegesis, use the term ‘right hand possession’ as meaning ‘female slave’.

Some of the questions and answers of the pamphlet are as follows,

Question 3: Can all unbelieving women be taken captive?

There is no dispute among the scholars that it is permissible to take such women who are characterized by original unbelief such as the women from among People of the Book ie Jews and Christians.

Question 4: Is it permissible to have intercourse with a female captive?

Allah the almighty said, ‘successful are the believers who guard their chastity, except from their wives or the captives and slaves, that their right hands posses for then they are free from blame (Koran 23:5-6).

Note: the words “captives and slaves” don’t exist in the original version of Quran

Question 6: Is it permissible to sell a female captive?

It is permissible to buy, sell or give as a gift female captives and slaves for they are merely property.

The literal interpretation in Arabic of the term ‘right hand’ means any promise or commitment that must be observed and respected. So the term, ‘right hands possession’ semantically means the obligation to fulfill promises. This could be relevant to different contexts, particularly those regarding social commitments such as caring for orphans, marriage, and recently, this term was referred to in relation to surrogacy. In the Quran, both men and women are called to respect what their right hands possess.

However, when the word ‘possession’ is added, ISIS interprets this as female slave.

Through this traditional interpretation of Quran, ISIS has publically and officially sanctioned their use of slavery and rape. The ‘right hands possession,’ means for them that ‘religiously’ they can have sex with ‘unbelieving’ women, virgins and young girls, captured during war even if it is outside the institution of marriage. They consider this as a reward for their war efforts and is a motivator for soldiers to fight….

ACLU opposes Maine bill criminalizing female genital mutilation

“Circumcision is obligatory (for every male and female) (by cutting off the piece of skin on the glans of the penis of the male, but circumcision of the female is by cutting out the bazr ‘clitoris’ [this is called khufaadh ‘female circumcision’]).” — ‘Umdat al-Salik e4.3, translated by Mark Durie, The Third Choice, p. 64

Why is it obligatory? Because Muhammad is held to have said so: “Abu al- Malih ibn Usama’s father relates that the Prophet said: ‘Circumcision is a law for men and a preservation of honour for women.’” — Ahmad Ibn Hanbal 5:75

“Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to her: ‘Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband.’” — Abu Dawud 41:5251

“Do not cut severely,” but not “Do not cut.”

That’s why it is so common around the world, and why it is certain to become increasingly common in the United States, particularly with help from the ACLU, which doubtless wants to avoid appearing to be “Islamophobic.”

“ACLU Opposes Maine Bill Criminalizing Female Genital Mutilation,” by Anders Hagstrom, Daily Caller, May 26, 2017 (thanks to Ari):

The American Civil Liberties Union launched a vocal opposition this week against a Maine bill criminalizing female genital mutilation (FGM), Mainely Media reports.

Republican Rep. Heather Sirocki is sponsoring the bill, saying that it would classify performing FGM as a Class B crime in the state, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine. The bill would also punish the parent or guardian of the victim.

However, the Maine ACLU staunchly opposes the protection. ACLU spokesman Oamshri Amarasingham said that the risk of mutilation isn’t worth expanding Maine’s criminal code. The Maine Coalition Against Sexual Assault also supported the ACLU, arguing that FGM is not happening in Maine.

Sirocki, however, pointed to a 2012 report from the Center for Disease Control, which found 500,000 victims of FGM in the US. Furthermore, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement found that 400 individuals have been arrested and 785 deported for FGM violations nationwide since 2003.

Maine, Sirocki said, is one of the eight highest-risk areas in the US for FGM. The practice has proven to be so rampant in the state that it has received special federal funding to combat it.

Sirocki’s bill would also criminalize “vacation cutting,” the practice of flying briefly overseas to subject minors to FGM in nations that haven’t banned the practice.

While FGM has been a crime federally since 1996, Maine is one of the highest-risk areas in the country for the practice, and Sirocki said that law enforcement needs to be able to try offenders on the state level….

Left discovers jihad, blames Trump for emboldening “jihadist” Saudi Arabia

Robert Spencer at Breitbart: Theresa May’s Tories Targeted Critics of Islam Instead of Terrorists

Lawyer: Trump Executive Order on Immigration violates First Amendment because honor killings are Islamic

Katyal is right. Honor killings are Islamic. But he is, to my knowledge, the first Western Leftist ever to admit that fact.

Muslims commit 91 percent of honor killings worldwide. A manual of Islamic law certified as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy by Al-Azhar, the most respected authority in Sunni Islam, says that “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2). In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law. In this case the victim was the murderer’s sister, a victim to the culture of violence and intimidation that such laws help create.

The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’” And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

Until the encouragement Islamic law gives to honor killing is acknowledged and confronted, more women will suffer.

But Katyal is here arguing that honor killings cannot be opposed or restricted because to do so would restrict Muslims’ religious freedom. He apparently understands the First Amendment’s protection of religious freedom as a license to break other laws, including prohibitions on murder. This is a vital point that must be clarified: either the principle of religious freedom overrules everything, and even allows for murder, or it stops where other laws begin. This question is going to have to be answered sooner or later.

“Hawaii Lawyer: Trump Exec Order Violates 1st Amendment Because Honor Killings Are Islamic,” by Raheem Kassam, Breitbart, May 15, 2017:

The lawyer representing the State of Hawaii in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit today has stated the collection of data with regards honor killings should be removed from President Trump’s Executive Order in order to “pass constitutional muster”.

In his arguments, Neal Katyal stated today that the collection of such data as outlined by the Executive Order 13780 contravenes the Establishment Clause, in the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion…”.

In doing so, Katyal appears to be making the case that honor killings — murder committed in the name of restoring a family’s dignity following discouraged behaviour within fundamentalist homes — is in itself Islamic.

It is an argument often made by anti-Islam campaigners, but to hear such arguments made by the political left might surprise some, especially when honor killings are also found — though to a lesser extent — in other religious groups like the Sikh community.

“What does [the President] have to do to issue an executive order that, in your view, might pass constitutional muster?” asked Judge Paez of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, this afternoon.

Katyal responded at length, stating: “I think there’s two paths that the President could take in order to pass constitutional muster.

“One is the way that our founders thought, Article 1 Section 8 which, as Congress in the driver’s seat with respect to immigration, passes a statute. as Justice Alito said, when Congress passes a statute it’s much less likely to discriminate. It is 535 people versus one, which is why his Mandel point is so problematic. That’s number one.

“Second thing the president could do, or the kinds of things or some of the kinds, removing some of things that the district court found led an objective observer to say that this this discriminates.

“One example would be, what Judge Hawkins said, disavowing formally all the stuff said before. But that’s not it. He could do a lot of things. For example, I’m going to throw out some examples. I‘m not trying to micro manage the President. He could say, like President Bush did, right after September 11th, the face of terror is not the true faith of Islam. that’s not what Islam is about. Islam is peace. Instead, we get, quote, Islam hates us. I think Islam hates us.

“I think he could point to changed circumstances from December 2015, when Congress debated the exact same evidence that the President relies on in his executive order and say, you know, we actually need more than just denying people entry without a visa, which is what Congress required. You need to do more than that.

“It could eliminate the text, which refers to honor killings. There’s a bunch of different things that could be done. And our fundamental point to you is that presidents don’t run into Establishment Clause problems and the reason for that is this is a very limited, you know, in a really unusual case in which you have these public statements by the President. if you affirm the district court there’s not a thing that any president has done in our lifetime that would be unconstitutional”.

For Katyal to advance such an argument may also be detrimental to the public understanding of honor killings in the United States….

WARNING OVER GANG TARGETING LONE FEMALE DRIVERS AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS

By Adam Boult, Telegraph,  12 MAY 2017 • thanks to Inexion:

Female drivers are being warned about a group of men who have been attempting to get into cars stopped at junctions.

In recent days several women in the Stockport area have reportedly been approached by the men while waiting for traffic lights to change.

One victim, Cala Grant, was approached on Monday this week. Describing the incident on Facebook, she wrote: “Two men attempted to get into my car while I was sat at traffic lights in Offerton.

“As the male was walking towards the driver side he looked like he was just crossing the road then quickly went for my door handle.

“At that time out of nowhere another male was attempting my passenger side.

“Luckily my doors were locked so I just raced off through a red light and nearly got hit by another driver in the process.

“I am ok although shaken up!” she added, warning other drivers: “Please please lock your doors!”

The incident occurred at approximately 7.45pm. The men were described as being Asian and in their early 20s.

Another woman reported a similar incident at the junction of Nangreave Road and Windermere Road. A man jumped in front of her car to make her stop, and then two other men appeared and tried to open the car doors, but found them locked.

The woman’s mother told the Manchester Evening News: “She was absolutely terrified and I think people need to be warned. Aquinas College is nearby where there are 100s of kids, many of them drive but probably don’t have new cars that have self-locking doors.

“I feel threatened myself and worried for my girls.”

Police are appealing for witnesses.

Female Muslim: Women in tight clothes ‘pollute the environment’, provoke rape

Atiya Siddiqua is working from the assumption that it is a woman’s responsibility to make sure a man is not tempted, and her fault if he is. This is the assumption behind honor killing and the punishment of rape victims, which is all too common in some Muslim countries.

muslim-women-india“Women in tightly-fitted clothes as dangerous as AIDS, says female cleric,” by Sana Shakil, DNA India, April 22, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

President of the women wing of Jamat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Atiya Siddiqua made the remarks at the sidelines of a function held for removing misconcepts about Islam.

In a statement that is ought to stir a hornets’s nest, a Muslim woman cleric on Friday said that women who wear tightly-fitted clothes are like pollutants who cause harm to to the society. The cleric went on to blame ‘such women’ for increased incidents of rape in the country and said that such women are as dangerous to the society as is the disease of AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome).

President of the women wing of Jamat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) Atiya Siddiqua made the remarks at the sidelines of a function held for removing misconcepts about Islam. Responding to a jourrnalist’s question on why Muslim women are supposed to cover themselves while there was no such condition for men, Siddiqua said purdah is in the best interest of women.

“A woman should cover herself for her own safety because we don’t know with what intentions men may look at us. Bepurdah (uncovered) women are polluting the environment. There is concern in about air pollution, water pollution but the biggest pollution for the society are bepurdah (uncovered) women. It is these women who are polluting the enivironment…The disease of AIDS is spreading, rape incidents are increasing on this account. Women who wear chust (tight) clothes pollute the enviornment.”

Siddiqua also went to state that women should roam out only when it is essential. “Mard baahar ghoomte hain. Aajkal aurtein bhi baahar ghoomti hain. Bacche kahaan jayenge phir agar dono baahar rahein. Aurton ko sirf basic needs ke lie nikalna chahie. Ye chhezein Bhartiya sabhyata ke bhi khilaaf hai (Men go out. These days women are also out all the time. In such a scenario, where will the children go? Women should come out of homes only for their basic needs. These things are against Indian culture.)”

Siddiqua, along with some other Muslim clerics, was one of the speakers at a function organised by JIH for creating awareness about Muslim Personal Law. Just like the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMLB), JIH also strongly opposed Centre’s stand on the issue of triple talaaq and Uniform Civil Code. JIH announced that it kick off the two-week long countrywide initiative titled ‘Muslim Personal Law Awareness Campaign’ (MPLAC).

“There is a need to educate, uplift and morally reform the Muslim society as a whole. A primary reason for violation of Shari’ah (Islamic laws) is lack of awareness among the Muslims. But these things can be taken care of by creating awareness and there is no reason to interfere with the Muslim Personal Law.”…

Three sisters in burkas accuse man of blasphemy then shoot and kill him

“The women, in their statement to police, alleged that Abbas had committed blasphemy in 2004, but ‘we couldn’t kill him at the time because we were too young then.’”

That’s patience. That’s dedication. In the West, counterterror analysts have frequently claimed that this war could take ten years or more. They haven’t reckoned on jihadi patience, because, of course, they don’t know anything about jihad or Islam.

In Pakistan, those accused of blasphemy are frequently targets of vigilante violence, as Muslims seek out the reward that will come from Allah for murdering the blasphemer.

“Three sisters kill man booked for blasphemy in Sialkot,” by Abid Hussain Mehdi, Dawn, April 20, 2017:

SIALKOT: Three armed burqa-clad sisters on Wednesday shot dead a man near Sialkot after accusing him of committing blasphemy 13 years ago.

Police managed to arrest the three suspects and identified them as Amna, Afshan and Razia.

The incident took place in Nangal Mirza village, Pasrur tehsil.

According to the police, the three women went to the house of Mazhar Hussain Syed, a faith healer, and asked him to pray for them. They also asked him if his son, Fazal Abbas, had returned from abroad. When told that he had returned from Belgium, they asked if they could see him. As soon as Abbas, 45, appeared before the women, they opened fire on him with the weapons they had brought with them secretly. Abbas died on the spot.

The women raised slogans in jubilation after his death, asserting that they had finally eliminated a blasphemer.

The women, in their statement to police, alleged that Abbas had committed blasphemy in 2004, but “we couldn’t kill him at the time because we were too young then”.

The police confirmed that they had registered a case against Abbas in 2004 under Section 295-C (use of derogatory remarks, etc., in respect of the Holy Prophet) of the Pakistan Penal Code at the Pasrur City station, but he fled abroad soon after….
