In its lengthy hit piece on Mike Pompeo and John Bolton, which I discussed at length here, the New York Times says this about Secretary of State-designate Mike Pompeo’s opposition to jihad terror and Sharia oppression:
Wa’el N. Alzayat, who was a Middle East expert at the State Department and senior policy adviser to Samantha Power, the former United Nations ambassador, said of Mr. Pompeo’s comments, “Imagine if this stuff had been said about Jews, or African-Americans or Chinese-Americans. And yet, we’re living with an administration that is actually rewarding people with racist views or racist associations with some of the highest positions in our government.”
Right, Wa’el. “Imagine if this stuff had been said about Jews, or African-Americans or Chinese-Americans.” Yeah, and imagine if the stuff that was said about Charles Manson had been said about your Aunt Rose. Wa’el N. Alzayat is relying on people’s ignorance about Islamic doctrine and history. Nothing in the history of the Jews, African-Americans (except for the Nation of Islam, the Black Panthers, etc.) or Chinese-Americans is remotely comparable to the 1,400-year war of Islamic jihadis against the rest of the world, which has raged without respite or reformation against Europe, Africa, Central Asia, India, and beyond.
But few Americans know this history, and even fewer know the truly shocking extent of the global devastation that jihad has caused. That’s why I wrote my forthcoming book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS, which you can preorder here now. The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS is the first and only comprehensive one-volume history of jihad, not just against Europe and the West, but in India and worldwide, in the English language. It’s the first book to tell the whole truth about Islam’s bloody history in an age when Islamic jihadis are more assertive in Western countries than they have been for centuries.
