VIDEO: Tommy Robinson arrested, gets 13 months for livestreaming outside Muslim rape gang trial

The British judge has imposed a gag order on this case, resulting in numerous mainstream media outlets taking down their stories, as the British government doubles down in its war against the freedom of speech. But according to a report from inside Britain, Tommy has been sentenced for 13 months in prison for violating the terms of an earlier suspended sentence, which was another anti-free-speech ruling: he was forbidden to report from outside trials of Muslim rape gangs.

He was doing just that when he was arrested yesterday, but that’s just a technicality. They don’t like him reporting outside Muslim rape gang trials because he tells the truth about them, the truth they are desperate to cover up. Whatever you may think of Tommy Robinson, this arrest is an outrage, and bodes ill for the future of Britain as a free society. Muslim rape gangs are still destroying the lives of non-Muslim girls in the UK, and UK authorities are far more concerned about silencing Tommy Robinson and other foes of jihad terror than they are about stopping those gangs.

The fear of being branded “racist” and “Islamophobic” has destroyed Britain as a free society. If Tommy is made to serve his full sentence and kept in the main prison population, he will almost certainly be killed by the Muslim inmates who rule British prisons. He must be freed. If he is not, his imprisonment is the death knell of free Britain. As I have said many times, and it has never been truer than it is now, the land of the Magna Carta is dead.

“‘I’ve done nothing’ Moment English Defence League founder Tommy Robinson was arrested while filming outside grooming trial,” by Abe Hawken, The Sun, May 25, 2018:

ENGLISH Defence League founder Tommy Robinson was today arrested on suspicion of breaching the peace while filming outside court.

The 35-year-old was at Leeds Crown Court on Friday morning and started a live feed on his Facebook page as a child grooming case continued.

Footage showed Mr Robinson being led to the back of a police van and he could be heard shouting to a friend: “Please, George, get me a solicitor, I’m on a suspended sentence, you see.”

The video, filmed on a smartphone, shows Mr Robinson – who was wearing a suit jacket – explain what is happening outside the court.

He said: “I’m being arrested for a breach of the peace. You’ve all watched this. Can you get me a solicitor?”

A police officer told him: “Do I understand what I’ve just told you? You’ve been arrested on suspicion of causing a breach to the peace.”

Another officer asked him to “turn off his live feed”.

Mr Robinson added: “I’m inciting people. How have I incited people? This is free speech; this is where we’re at. You’re not even allowed to.

“This is ridiculous. Lads, do you feel right about what you’re doing here? I haven’t said a word.

“In fact, someone laid a hand on me and assaulted me outside court. Other people swore at me and threatened me about my mother and here I am being arrested for saying nothing.

“I’ve done nothing. A breach of the peace, apparently I’m inciting on my video.”

Mr Robinson stepped into the back of the police van and officers closed the door….

West Yorkshire Police refused to comment on the arrest.

VIDEO: Somali Muslim migrant youth attack park goers in Lewiston, Maine

Celebrate diversity! Diversity is our strength! Watch for much, much more of this in the coming months and years. This is the America the Left wants, and that the Left has given us.

“Gang of Somali Kids Attack Park Goers in Lewiston,” Maine First Media, May 24, 2018:

It was an otherwise pleasant evening in Maine when two dozen Somali youth swarmed and attacked two local residents in Kennedy Park last Thursday evening.

The Somali mob attacked around 7:45 pm, just as the sun was setting on this historic city park in the heart of Maine’s second largest city.

A local mother recorded as a mob of teens and children, boys and girls as young as nine years old, brandishing wooden bats and other objects, along with fists, feet and sheer numbers to attack the two non-Somali defenders. At one point you can even here one of the hoodlums repeatedly daring the woman to, “stop me, b**ch.”

Lewiston Police tell Maine First Media one of the victims was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. However, no charges were filed.

Lewiston Mayor, Shane Bouchard says these types of incidents are common at Kennedy Park, but points to Lewiston’s low crime rate.

“Kennedy Park is a large common space in the middle of some of the poorest census tracts in the Northeast,” Mayor Bouchard said. “When you have large, diverse groups of people in the same place you are bound to have incidents. Lewiston is no different in that respect than any other medium to large city, except that Lewiston’s violent crime rate is one of the lowest in Maine.”

While the Mayor brings up Lewiston’s violent crime statistics, it is important to note, in this case, the victim didn’t press charges, meaning, statistically there was no crime. Incidents like this often go unreported and are not reflected in the numbers — something even Mayor Bouchard has to admit.

“In this particular case, the person who was attacked declined to press charges, therefore under the law, there was no victim, therefore no crime,” said Mayor Bouchard.

Witnesses at the park say the attack started when one of the victims asked one of the attackers to use a lighter for his cigarette. However, Lewiston Police are reviewing the video and have not determined an official motivation for this gang assault.

This is far from the first incident of Somalian attacks at Kennedy Park. Recently, a 10-year-old girl was jumped and beaten by a Somali girl at the park. As such occurrences become more common in Lewiston, many lifelong residents are now afraid to bring their own children to play.

Some residents say police officiers tell them the safest thing would be not to bring their kids to the park anymore. However, according to Lewiston Police Department Public Information Officer, Lieutenant David St. Pierre, that is not the department’s stance.

“I am not aware of officers advising parents to refrain from bringing their children to the park,” Lt. St. Pierre said. “We at the Lewiston Police strive to make it a safe and enjoyable environment for all.”…

Our community resource officers are reaching out to the leaders in our new Mainer community,” Mayor Bouchard said. “While we are fighting a cultural barrier, outreach to these groups has been successful in the past, and we are hopeful we can make some progress.”…

On any given day, dozens if not hundreds of Somali youth can be found occupying Kennedy Park and the violence is nothing new. Local residents bearing the brunt of these violent mobs are growing frustrated. Maine First Media was told it took police at least 7-8 minutes to arrive on the scene — despite the police station being right across the street from the park.

However, Lt. St. Pierre says they didn’t receive a call until about 8:05 pm and officers were on the scene in 2-3 minutes. And while the station may be across the street, patrolling officers are out making rounds….

VIDEO: Muslims open fire on Christians trying to retake their homes taken by Muslims

The global “human rights community” will take little notice. After all, it isn’t as if something important, such as “Islamophobia,” had been committed.

“In Punjab, Christians who tried to retake their homes grabbed by Muslims suffer gunshot wounds (video),” by Kamran Chaudhry, Asia News, May 18, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

Lahore (AsiaNews) – Two Christians have survived after they were fired upon by armed men who wanted to prevent them from regaining possession of their land.

The incident occurred yesterday in the village of Sankhatra (Punjab province), where the Christian community blocked the streets to protest against the illegal occupation of their properties.

For months they have been unable to go back into their homes because of a land dispute with a politician from the ruling party.

The wounded are Shahbaz Masih Gill, 36, and Samina Tasneem, 28. Both suffered gunshot wounds to the legs and are currently in hospital.

The police took their statement and filed a case under the Pakistan Penal Code, sections 324 (Attempt to commit qatl-i-amd, i.e. murder), 148 (Rioting, armed with deadly weapon), and 149 (Every member of unlawful assembly guilty of offence committed in prosecution of common object)….

The two Christians belong to a group of 30 families threatened by Muhammad Ismail, a member of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) party, who is claiming 1,745 square metres of land adjacent to the Alba Presbyterian church….

June 1, 2009: The Day Obama was silent about a Muslim Convert Slaughtering Two America Soldiers in Little Rock, AK

June 1, 2018 will be the ninth anniversary of two tragic events. The first event was the shooting of two United States Army privates by a Muslim convert outside the recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas; one private was killed and the other was wounded. The second event was the start of the multi-day silence about this shooting from President Barack Hussein Obama, their Commander-in-Chief.

On June 1, 2009, shortly after 10:00 AM (Central Time Zone), Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, an American citizen and Muslim convert, drove up to the Army recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas. There were two Army privates standing outside. Muhammad opened fire and killed Private William Long, 23 years old, and wounded Private Quinton Ezeagwula, 18 years old. Muhammad was arrested shortly afterwards, and numerous newspaper articles the next day quoted the police as saying that Muhammad had “political and religious motives” for his attack.

For the folks in Washington D.C., the attack occurred shortly after 11:00 AM (Eastern Time Zone). The silence about this attack from President Obama lasted over a multi-day period in spite of the following activities mentioned on the White House website (all times are Eastern Time Zone).

That Same Day (Day 1)

At 2:20 PM, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs gave a briefing to the press. The press asked questions about a package left along the northeast gate of the White House; the federal government’s bailout of General Motors; North Korea; the cost of the recent “out-of-town date night” of President Obama and the First Lady; reducing the U.S. debt, the price of oil; Obama’s upcoming trip to the Middle East; and the upcoming D-Day Commemoration. There was no mention of Army Privates Long and Ezeagwula.[1]

At 3:34 PM, President Obama was interviewed by BBC Correspondent Justin Webb. Among the items Obama talked about were his upcoming speech in Cairo and how he hoped it would open a dialogue between the Muslim world and the West. He stated that “the U.S. Muslim population is more numerous than the populations of many majority-Muslim countries.” He talked about his Cairo speech and the importance of “closing Guantanamo.” He then talked about Israeli-Palestinian relations and noted that it was “in the world’s interests for Iran to set aside ambitions for a nuclear weapon.” Obama ended the interview by talking about how he spends his personal time. There was no mention of Army Privates Long and Ezeagwula.[2]

At 3:50 PM, President Obama was interviewed by French correspondent Laura Haim of Canal Plus. President Obama expressed his condolences for the crash of Air France Flight 447 into the Atlantic Ocean in the early morning hours of June 1st, with the loss of all aboard. The conversation then turned to, among other topics, Obama’s upcoming trip to the Middle East on June 2nd, and Obama erroneously claimed “that if you actually took the number of Muslims [sic] Americans, we’d be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.” He pointed out that his love for France included its food, wine, and Paris; he said he had traveled through the south of France as a college student. He ended by noting that although he had studied French in high school, he had forgotten that language. There was no mention of Army Privates Long and Ezeagwula.[3]

At 4:02 PM, President Obama was interviewed by National Public Radio. The interviewers asked about how the U.S. could improve relations with the Muslim world and would such efforts affect relations with Israel; how could peace be established between the Israelis and Palestinians; how to deal with countries that have “undemocratic governments”; how to deal with Iran, Hezbollah and Hamas; nuclear proliferation; Guantanamo; and the possible impact that fighting in a Muslim country (Afghanistan) could have on relations with other Muslim countries. There was no mention of Army Privates Long and Ezeagwula.[4]

June 2nd (Day 2)

The FBI issued a press release about the arrest of Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad:

Little Rock Special Agent in Charge Thomas J. Browne issued the following statement:

On June 1, 2009, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammed, formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe, was arrested by the Little Rock, Arkansas Police Department for the murder of Pvt. William Long and the attempted murder of Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, two soldiers in the United States Army at an Army Recruiting Office in Little Rock…[5]

At 11:56 AM President Obama held a press conference to announce his nomination of then-Republican Congressman John McHugh (New York) to become the Secretary of the Army. Obama talked about the importance of the U.S. military. He stated, “Few have borne a heavier burden in recent years than America’s Army…” and he said, “As a nation, we have a sacred trust with all those who wear the uniform: To always take care of them as they take care of us.” Obama continued:

And today I’m proud to announce the distinguished public servant who will help keep us safe and keep our sacred trust with our soldiers and their families, the next Secretary of the Army — the ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee, John McHugh…John understands that the Army’s greatest strength is its people…As Secretary, he will ensure that America keeps faith with our soldiers — increasing their pay, increasing child care and helping families deal with the stress and strain of war.

Congressman McHugh then stepped to the microphone and stated that “the most important common good” was

the welfare and the interest of the men and women who voluntarily put on the uniform of the branches of the United States military — and their families, because they serve as well.

McHugh also pointed out that

for all of the special feelings for all of the military, I’ve always had the Army somewhat apart….The Army has always had a special place in my heart…

At this press conference announcing the nominee for Secretary of the Army, there was no mention of Army Privates Long and Ezeagwula.[6]

June 3rd (Day 3)

President Obama issued the following, almost generic, statement about Privates Long and Ezeagwula:

I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of their son.[7]

There were reports that correspondent Major Garrett had appeared on Special Report with Brett Baier this same day (June 3rd) and said that this statement by Obama had been made available only to the Arkansas media. This seemed to be confirmed later during a June 10th press conference, when White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked regarding a presidential statement about the shooting of Long and Ezeagwula. Gibbs replied, “Well, I believe a statement did go to many stations in Arkansas regarding that.”[8]

Additional information about this limited release was later given on December 7, 2011, when Daris Long, father of Private Long, appeared in front of a Congressional joint hearing on “Islamist Radicalization.” This is from Long’s prepared statement submitted to the two committees:

Three days after Andy died this was on the internet and I quote: ‘‘FNC Special Report’s on-line broadcast from last night is well worth the watch on the topic. Major Garret comes on to discuss the White House handling of it. The White House prepared a comment to be released about the attack for ‘those who requested comment.’ He goes on to explain the White House explained this was available upon request instead of just releasing it because the press didn’t seem interested. Garret was clearly squirming, knowing how awful what he was saying sounded.’’[9]

It is notable that Obama’s June 3rd statement about Privates Long and Ezeagwula was not listed on the White House website.[10]

When nominating John McHugh to be Secretary of the Army, President Obama had said,

…we have a sacred trust with all those who wear the uniform: To always take care of them as they take care of us.

Unfortunately, for two of those wearing the uniform and serving under his command, Obama’s condolences were delayed for days, generic in nature, limited in distribution, and not listed on the White House web site.

This is in stark contrast to how Obama handled the deaths of three individuals around that same time period: George Tiller, President El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba, and Stephen Johns.

George Tiller

Dr. George Tiller was a physician who was nationally known for being one of the few doctors in the United States to perform late-term abortions. On May 31, 2009, he was murdered by Scott Roeder, who was anti-abortion. Later that same day Obama issued the following statement:

I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.[11]

This statement was marked “For Immediate Release” and was listed on the White House website.[12]

President El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba

Omar Bongo was the president of the African country of Gabon. Bongo had assumed the presidency in 1967 and converted to Islam in 1973.[13] Bongo died of natural causes on June 8, 2009. A few weeks before his death, BBC News had posted an article about him. This article noted that:

Mr. Bongo is one of three African leaders accused of embezzlement… It is alleged that the volume of real estate owned by Mr. Bongo’s family in France could not have been purchased with official salaries alone. In recent weeks this has been followed by the freezing of Mr. Bongo’s bank accounts in France following bribery allegations… critics have long argued that Mr. Bongo’s stay in power has been as a consequence of a combination of violence and corruption.[14]

Bongo died on June 8th and later that same day Obama issued the following statement:

I am saddened to learn of the death of President El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba of Gabon. President Bongo played a key role in developing and shaping the strong bilateral relationship that exists between Gabon and the United States today.

President Bongo consistently emphasized the importance of seeking compromise and striving for peace, and made protecting Gabon’s natural treasures a priority. His work in conservation in his country and his commitment to conflict resolution across the continent are an important part of his legacy and will be remembered with respect.

On behalf of the United States government, I offer my condolences to his family and to the people of Gabon.[15]

This statement was marked “For Immediate Release” and was listed on the White House website.[16]

Stephen Johns

Stephen Johns was a Special Police Officer at the Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington DC. On June 10, 2009, James Wenneker von Brunn entered the museum and fatally shot Officer Johns. Later that same day Obama issued the following statement:

I am shocked and saddened by today’s shooting at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. This outrageous act reminds us that we must remain vigilant against anti-Semitism and prejudice in all its forms. No American institution is more important to this effort than the Holocaust Museum, and no act of violence will diminish our determination to honor those who were lost by building a more peaceful and tolerant world.

Today, we have lost a courageous security guard who stood watch at this place of solemn remembrance. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends in this painful time.[17]

This statement was marked “For Immediate Release” and was listed on the White House website.[18]

Conclusion

It is interesting to note that Obama’s statements about Tiller, Bongo, and Johns were marked “For Immediate Release” and were so released, while his statement about Long and Ezeagwula was delayed for days. Obama’s statements about Tiller, Bongo and Johns were listed on the White House web site, but his statement about Long and Ezeagwula was not.

And there was also an interesting difference in the content of the statements about the three shooting incidents: specificity vs. vagueness. With regard to Tiller, Obama spoke of profound differences over abortion, but said that these differences could not “be resolved by heinous acts of violence.” In the shooting of Johns, Obama said, “This outrageous act reminds us that we must remain vigilant against anti-Semitism and prejudice in all its forms.” Yet in his statement about a shooting that had been done by a Muslim convert who had “political and religious motives,” Obama referred to it only as a nondescript “senseless act of violence,” with no mention being made of Islam.

Why was there a two day delay in the release of Obama’s statement about the shooting on June 1st by a Muslim convert, and why did the resulting statement have a generic approach with a limited distribution? It likely had to do with President Obama’s travel schedule. On June 3rd, Obama was meeting with King Abdullah in Saudi Arabia. On June 4th, Obama was in Cairo, Egypt giving a speech that paid homage to Islam and earned repeated rounds of applause from his Muslim audience. The reception in the Middle East might not have been as warm if Obama had just a few days before drawn national and international attention to a Muslim convert who had religious motives for gunning down two U.S. soldiers on American soil.

Yet it was on May 27, 2009, only a few days before the shooting of Privates Long and Ezeagwula, that President Obama had said this in a speech at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada:

I want to thank all of you, the men and women in uniform, for your service to our country. We’re grateful to you. Thank you…The fact that you serve each and every day to keep us safe is something that every American is grateful for. And so if I don’t do anything else as your Commander-in-Chief, I’m going to make sure that we’re there for you just as you’ve been there for us. So thank you very much.[19]

How soon he forgot.

The lack of interest on the part of the press was glaringly evident during Robert Gibbs’ previously mentioned press briefing on June 1st; it had taken place about three hours after Long and Ezeagwula had been shot. The transcript of this press briefing showed that there were no questions from the members of the press, or even a statement by Gibbs, about the two privates having been shot!

NYC SCHOOL HOLDS MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR VICTIMS OF ISRAEL-GAZA BORDER VIOLENCE

As seen on Fox & Friends Weekend

A New York City school’s decision to hold a moment of silence for Palestinian victims of last week’s violence at the Israel-Gaza border has enraged some parents.

The New York Post reported that students at The Beacon School in Manhattan were asked to pause to pay tribute to the more than 60 Palestinians killed.

Numerous outlets painted Israel as the aggressor as its security forces opened fire when mass protests by the Palestinians erupted after the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem.

A senior official for Hamas said that 50 of the protesters killed were members of the terrorist group.

Ed Henry noted Sunday on “Fox & Friends” that among those killed, some could have been innocent Palestinians.

“Because Hamas told them to go to the front of the line to get shot,” Pete Hegseth replied.

Hegseth argued that if a terrorist sent an innocent person to intentionally get killed, the terrorist is still to blame.

“The innocent blood is on the hands of the terrorist who put the kid out to charge the fence with no prospects of crossing that border,” he said.

The Post reported that the announcement for the moment of silence was made by a student.

“I am extremely upset because I did not send my child to a New York City public school to pray for Hamas operatives,” one father, who is Jewish, told the paper.

It also said that the school’s principal, Ruth Lacey, has been unresponsive to parents who have reached out.

Christian Teen Raped, Then Tied Down and Murdered in Front of Father by Muslim Family

Where is the outcry from the UN? The international media? Do you think they would be as indifferent as they are if Christians were raping Muslim girls and then murdering them in front of their families? Neither do I. You’d never hear the end of it in the international media; it would be like the coverage given to the alleged persecution of Muslims in Myanmar and elsewhere. But Christians do not, of course, engage in such behavior. This kind of attack, however, by Muslims on Christians is so commonplace, and Muslim violence is so taken for granted, that this will get no coverage at all. “Journalists” are too busy hunting for incidents of “Islamophobia.”

“Pakistani Christian Teen Raped, Then Tied Down and Murdered in Front of Father by Muslim Family,” Black Christian News Network One, May 12, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

A 17-year-old Christian girl was murdered in Pakistan after being tied down and strangled to death by a Muslim family before her father’s own eyes, reportedly because she didn’t do the household chores to their satisfaction.

Christians in Pakistan reported on Tuesday that the murder of Kainat Salamat, daughter of Salamat Masih, occurred last week in Kamonki, Gujranwala district.

Masih filed a First Information Report to report the crime on May 6, explaining to police that he arrived to visit his daughter at the home of Muhammad Asif, where she had worked as a domestic helper since age 11.

The father says that he and another relative saw that the Muslim family, Asif, Muhammad Kashif, Muhammad Tariq Pasran, Muhammad Ismael, along with Asif’s wife and another woman, were holding down Kainat’s legs and arms.

The Muslim family had tied a rope around the Christian girl’s neck and were strangling her. Despite her father’s pleas, they killed her in front of his eyes.

The father adds in the report that his daughter, who was buried on Monday, was killed for failing to do the house cleaning properly.

The British Pakistani Christian Association also reported on the girl’s death, revealing that her corpse was take to Civil Hospital Gujranwala for a post-mortem study. There, doctors found evidence that the teenager had suffered rape….

On the anniversary of the Holocaust’s forgotten pogrom, let’s recall who the ‘Palestinians’ have always been

The jihad against Israel is nothing new, and it didn’t start with the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948 — as I show in detail in my forthcoming book The History of Jihad From Muhammad to ISIS (click here to preorder). This riveting account by Tiffany Gabbay, whose family survived the Farhud in Baghdad in 1941, demonstrates that.

Why do incidents such as the Farhud happen? Because the Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).

“On the anniversary of the Holocaust’s forgotten pogrom, let’s recall who the Palestinians have always been,” by Tiffany Gabbay, Rebel Media, May 18, 2018:

There are few chapters in history that have ever revealed the face of evil or wrought more human suffering and degradation than the Holocaust. What many don’t realize, however, is that the poisonous barbs of Hitler’s final solution were not confined solely to Europe, but stretched far beyond to the Middle East where Arabs, even more practiced in their anti-Semitism, were eager to commit a genocide of their own. Leading the charge was Palestinian-icon, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.

During the Shoah, notorious “Palestinian” Jew-hater, Haj Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, sought to realize his long-held goal of purging the Middle East of its Jewish communities. Believing that what the Nazis were orchestrating in Europe could also be successfully implemented in the Arab world, the mufti began his courtship of Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler and other prominent Nazis. Steadfast, the mufti traveled to Germany requesting the practical and material support required to “solve the problem of the Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries.”

After all, he reasoned, “the Arabs were Germany’s natural friends because they had the same enemies.”

While Hitler never publicly declared his support for al-Husseini, he did fulfill his promise to furnish the Arab nationalist with “practical aid to the Arabs involved in the same struggle” and help facilitate the “destruction of the Jewish element residing in the Arab sphere.”

One of the most significant gifts the Nazis bestowed on al-Husseini were the tools needed to conduct successful propaganda campaigns — ones far more sophisticated than the Islamic world were privy to before. Their pilot program began in Iraq, where a pro-Nazi government had already been successfully established.

By the late 1930s, Nazi-Arab momentum had gained considerable steam and the German embassy in Iraq was headed by Nazi diplomat Fritz Grobba. Under his stewardship the dissemination of anti-Semitic propaganda material throughout the Middle East increased markedly. By purchasing Arab newspapers and translating Nazi content into Arabic, soon Iraqis were feasting not only on their own brand of Quranic anti-Semitism, but also a Western equivalent that validated their already-held, twisted beliefs.

In fact, one such newspaper, al-Alam al-Arabi (The Arab World), published the first Arabic-language translation of Mein Kampf. Likewise, Grobba ordered German Nazi broadcasts to be translated into Arabic and aired across Iraqi radio. The German embassy also supported the formation of al-Fatwa, the Muslim counterpart of Hitlerjugend (Hitler Youth).

To illustrate how effective Nazi-Arab collaboration was, consider that al-Fatwa’s rallying cry invoked Hitler’s perceived grandeur. Historian Edwin Black documented that a delegation of al-Fatwa members even attended a Nazi rally in Nuremberg in 1938. Upon their return they’d often be heard chanting in Arabic, “long live Hitler, the killer of insects and Jews.”

Needless to say this was fertile ground for anti-Semitic atrocities to take place and soon the Arab street became more dangerous than ever for Jews who’d called Iraq home, in some cases, for millennia. With the environment primed, the mufti’s next step was to organize a full-fledged pogrom.

The Farhud

On June 1, 1941, Jewish families in Baghdad were home preparing meals in anticipation of Shavuot, a holiday that marks the gifting of the Torah (Bible) by God to the Jewish people on Mt. Sinai. By all rights it is a festive occasion and although members of the Jewish community were aware local Arabs were conspiring against them, they were assured by local leaders that they would remain safe.

Nothing could have been further from the truth.

As the holiday commenced, Jewish homes and businesses were marked with a bright red hamsa, or “hand of God,” to single them out for attack. And, with the mufti’s plan in place, a violent mob of Iraqi Muslims took to the streets armed with swords, axes, knives, guns, torches and pipes. They killed every Jewish man, woman, and child they could find.

No one was spared, neither young nor old. Jewish women were raped in the streets while their infants were murdered before their eyes. Jewish men were hacked to death with axes in broad daylight. Even bearing in mind the long history of Islamic Jew-hatred, the massacre that took place on Shavuot, 1941, was bloodier and more gruesome than anything that had occurred, to that point, in modern-day Baghdad.

My father was there. He recalled the savagery in complete and utter detail for the duration of his life. And although he was only a child no older than nine, the situation demanded he become a man. As the oldest son, my father felt an onus to stand by his father and protect his family….

Gaza violence not over embassy location, ‘comes from those who reject existence of Israel in any location’

Speaking the truth in a forum where it has not been heard for years, and where most of those who hold power are determined to suppress it.

“Haley Defends Israel at U.N.: ‘No Country in This Chamber Would Act With More Restraint,’” by David Rutz, Washington Free Beacon, May 15, 2018:

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley strongly defended Israel Tuesday in the face of international criticism of its response to violent demonstrations at the Gaza border, saying no other country in the chamber would act with more restraint than the Jewish state….

She also noted the report on Hamas falsely claiming to their people that Israeli soldiers were abandoning places along the fence, when in fact they were reinforcing them.

“This is how determined they are to make the lives of the Palestinian people miserable,” she said. “They light Molotov cocktails, attached to kites on fire, and attempt to fly them into Israel to cause as much destruction as possible.”

Make no mistake, she said, “Hamas is pleased with the results from yesterday.”

“I ask my colleagues here in the Security Council, who among us would accept this type of activity on your border?” Haley asked. “No one would. No country in this chamber would act with more restraint than Israel has. In fact, the records of several countries here today suggest they would be much less restrained.”

“Those who suggest that the Gaza violence has anything to do with the location of the American embassy are sorely mistaken,” she added. “Rather, the violence comes from those who reject the existence of the state of Israel in any location.”

Haley also said the council should be more focused on the destabilizing behavior of Iran, which launched rockets from Syria at Israel last week.

“In recent days, Hamas terrorists backed by Iran have incited attacks against Israeli security forces and infrastructure,” Haley said. “That is violence that should occupy our attention too. The common thread in all of this is the [destabilizing] conduct of the Iranian regime, a regime that insists on promoting violence throughout the Middle East, while depriving its own people of basic human rights.[“]

Haley said there should be discussions of Iran’s presence in Syria, promotion of violence in Yemen, support for terrorism in Gaza and weapons buildup in Lebanon.

“However, in the minds of some, today’s meeting was not called to discuss any of those examples of violence in the Middle East,” she said. “Today’s meeting was called to discuss the violence that some suggest was connected with yesterday’s opening of the United States embassy in Jerusalem. For some people, the embassy opening is said to be a reason to engage in violence. How is that justified?”…

PARIS: Muslim ‘Allahu akbar’ knifeman was migrant from Chechnya, was on watch list

What good is a watch list if no one is watching the people on it? Or are there just too many for French authorities to keep track of them all? The latter is a stated goal of the Islamic State: to overwhelm Western police and intelligence apparatuses, until they collapse. They’re well on their way to succeeding in doing this in France.

An update on this story. “Paris knife attack: Suspect ‘French citizen born in Russia’s Chechnya,’” BBC, May 13, 2018:

The suspect in a deadly knife attack in central Paris on Saturday evening is a French citizen born in 1997 in Russia’s republic of Chechnya, sources say.

Named by media as Khamzat Asimov, he was on a French watch list of people who could pose a threat to national security, the sources said.

Police shot dead the attacker in the busy Opéra district after he killed a man and injured four other people.

The Islamic State (IS) group said it was behind the attack.

French President Emmanuel Macron tweeted (in French): “France has once again paid in blood, but will not give an inch to the enemies of freedom.”

France has been on high alert following a series of attacks. More than 230 people have been killed by IS-inspired jihadists in the past three years.
What do we know about the attacker?

The suspect was not carrying any identification papers and has not yet been officially named.

Sources told French media the man had no criminal record and his parents had been held for questioning. He is believed to be a French citizen who was naturalised in 2010….
