A Canadian citizen, Amichai Ish-Ran, originally from Montreal, was shot five times when a Palestinian jihadist opened fire on Israeli civilians in a drive-by. He is still recovering in a hospital, and his wife “Shira who was 30 weeks pregnant, was also shot, in the abdomen.” Shira and Amichai’s baby was delivered by emergency caesarian section, but he didn’t make it.
The baby was murdered by a Palestinian jihadist.
The world would be reeling if the attackers were Europeans or Jews and the victims were Muslim. Mainstream Muslim groups would be demanding a special day of recognition against “Islamophobia,” but it is Islamic jihadists who are routinely victimizing innocent people while screaming “Islamophobia” when such abuses are called out. It is offensive to call them out. It is offensive to identify the religion and ideology of the attackers. This has to stop.
If Christians, Jews, or Hindus were routinely targeting others, they should be identified and called out. But now, thanks to the efforts of stealth jihadists, it has become “racist” to expect respect for human life from everyone equally. This is the epitome of the bigotry of low expectations. It is a result of propaganda claiming that jihadists are the victims of colonialists and racists. Forget the 1,400 year history of bloody jihad against the infidel and against Muslims of other sects.
The only “peace” the Palestinians will accept is illuminated by the commonly-heard chant: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.” This means the obliteration of Israel. In the meantime, Israel will continue to be labelled an “apartheid” and “racist” state for defending itself, and the Palestinians will be cast as perpetual victims in this propaganda war. All along, it has been a jihad war against Jews, one front of the larger war against all unbelievers.
An attorney and writer, Ari Lieberman, who is “personally acquainted with Shira Ish-Ran’s father,” writes:
This bestial act of violence perpetrated by lowly cowards, was praised by Hamas, who referred to the attack as “heroic.” The Palestinian Authority has yet to issue a statement condemning the attack but judging by their past actions, they will likely name streets and squares after the perpetrators and issue hefty stipends for their families, a repulsive practice known as pay for slay. Under the leadership of Donald Trump, the United States has curtailed aid to the Palestinians, citing among other things, the Palestinian practice of pay for slay. The Europeans seem oblivious to this practice and are still lavishly funding the Palestinian Authority, courtesy of EU taxpayer.
There are far too many leaders worldwide who are fooled by Palestinian propaganda.
“UPDATE: Baby dies after Canadians injured in West Bank terror attack,” CTV News, December 12, 2018:
The infant child of a Canadian citizen and his wife who were among those injured in a terrorist attack in the West Bank Sunday night has died.
The drive-by shooting happened in Ofra, a Jewish settlement. Israeli authorities say a suspected Palestinian gunman opened fire on a group of people waiting at a bus stop.
Among the injured were two family members of a prominent Montreal attorney.
Lawyer Jordan Charness says his 21-year-old nephew Amichai Ish-Ran was shot five times and is recovering in hospital. Ish-Ran’s wife Shira, who was 30 weeks pregnant, was also shot, in the abdomen.
Her baby was delivered by emergency caesarian section.
On Wednesday, Charness said that Shira was awake and had spoken to her husband, and the infant died that day.
Five others were also injured in the attack.
“It’s very difficult here obviously because we don’t have constant updates even though my daughter’s at the hospital waiting,” Charness said. “You feel very helpless here to know that your family in Israel can be subject to this kind of terror attack at any time and it actually happened.”
The entire attack was captured on surveillance video, which was being monitored by Amichai Ish-Ran’s brother.
“Strangely my other nephew, the one who’s injured’s younger brother, is in the army and he was at the time in charge of monitoring safety cameras in that area. He saw this terror attack happen and he ordered in the ambulances and the army, and because of his quick actions they got there that quickly and helped save their lives,’ said Charness.
Amichai Ish-Ran’s mother, Galila, is a former Montrealer who moved to Israel. Her son is a dual Israeli-Canadian citizen….
